I recently reached out to this university to inquire about the Psychology program. Unfortunately, my experience with one of their representatives, Mr. Carlos, was deeply disappointing and unprofessional.
From the beginning, Mr. Carlos responded in a tone that came across as dismissive and somewhat rude. I attempted to explain my academic background and interest in the program, hoping to receive some guidance, but he seemed unwilling to listen or engage in a meaningful conversation. Instead, I was met with what felt like a disrespectful attitude and little to no effort to understand my situation.
When I asked about potential admission requirements—such as the TOEFL or SAT—Mr. Carlos vaguely responded that it would "depend on the academic information" I provided. However, his tone and the way he responded made me feel as if he doubted the legitimacy of my academic experience, which came off as not only unprofessional but borderline discriminatory.
I also made it clear that I was interested in a virtual learning option, as I do not reside in Florida. Despite this, he insisted that any further questions would require an in-person visit, offering no real assistance or alternatives for out-of-state students.
Based on my interaction with Mr. Carlos, I cannot recommend this university to prospective students. First impressions matter, and if this is the level of courtesy and support offered at the inquiry stage, I can only imagine how it would feel to actually be enrolled. His attitude alone was enough for me to reconsider and ultimately decide not to pursue my studies at...
Read moreI recently spoke with Mr. Carlos Clavijo regarding the online Bachelor’s in Psychology. I was truly excited to learn more about this program, but unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing due to his unprofessional attitude.
First of all, he made remarks suggesting that only “smart” people could finish the course earlier, implying that intelligence was the sole factor. When I pointed out that completing a course faster often depends on how much time someone can dedicate, not just intelligence, he dismissively responded with, “Yes, whatever.” That kind of attitude is condescending and unhelpful.
He then asked if my last name was Chávez, like the president in a condescending tone —an inappropriate and irrelevant comment. When I requested an email with more information, what I received was five short lines, no subject line, and no real effort to provide details. It lacked any sense of professionalism.
With representatives like this, it’s discouraging to even consider applying. This was a very unfortunate experience, especially for someone genuinely interested in...
Read moreFrom my point of view. To share my experience in my daughter’s graduation October 10 in the JLKC, it was terrible. The escalator and elevator from the parking to the center were broken and my mom had to climb stairs, she is 92 y/o. Then I was discriminated by the guard at the entrance about my purse being too big, I left it in the car and when I came in I saw many ladies with purses the same size as mine , incredible. Then I had to request accommodation for my mom as she could not climb the steps to the seats, for that I received assistance. We were very disappointed about how bad looking the stage for the students was. The video of the students sharing their experiences was ok but they should have rehearsed better, they are supposed to be professionals for crying out loud. Please , spend some money in nice flower arrangements, this school is not cheap and the students deserve better. It was not a pleasant experience over all and again, the students...
