I booked a deep clean for 11/26. According to the list that Two Maids provided of what is included in a deep clean, many things were not done. The windows, windowsills, and blinds throughout the home were not cleaned, the kitchen backsplash and stove were not cleaned, with clear evidence of grease and splatter still on them, fingerprints were still on the family room fireplace, the floors felt sticky from whatever product was used, baseboards werenât cleaned thoroughly, dust on the kitchen light fixture, a ring around the half bath toilet, they forgot to clean the master bathroom and had to be shown. All-in-all, a lazy job was done and definitely not worth the $400 price tag. When my boyfriend and I returned to the home and noticed the poor job, I contacted Two Maids the following day and made a complaint, requested to speak to a manager, and requested that the manager come to the home to inspect the job that was done. I was told I would receive a callback from the manager that same day (11/27). She never called. On 11/29, I responded to an automated email and text from Two Maids, asking for feedback. I responded with my issues and received an email response that someone would contact me to follow-up. As of 12/2, still no one had contacted me so I called again to speak to a manager. I was supposed to be forwarded to a manager, but the phone went to voicemail. I called back and the person that picked up happened to be the person I was told was the manager, but I discovered in my conversation with her that she was not. She did, however, take my complaint and arranged for the home to be re-cleaned on 12/4. I again reiterated that I wanted the manager to come out to the home prior to it being cleaned so that she could see for herself the issues we were complaining about. I requested that the same cleaning staff not return to the home since they did not do a good job the first time. The day of the re-cleaning, the manager finally called (8 days after my initial request to speak to the manager), she stated she had another obligation and may not be able to make it out before the cleaning, but some time while the cleaning staff was there. She asked me to send her pictures of the areas I had concerns with, which I did. She told me the cleaning staff would call 30 minutes before they were to arrive. I never heard from the manager again. She never showed up and never called me, not even to follow-up to see if we were satisfied with the re-clean. As of today, it has been 7 days since the re-clean and I anticipate that at this point, we wonât be hearing from her. The cleaning staff arrived and did not call first. One of the two women who arrived was part of the original cleaning staff, when I specifically requested to not have anyone who came the first time return for the re-clean. Having said that, the two women who came for the re-clean were very pleasant, asked questions about what I wanted done, ensured what was done was done to my satisfaction, and completed other tasks that they saw needed to be done that was not completed or not completed as it should have been the first time, without my asking. They did a much better job and the issues I pointed out to them where all resolved to my satisfaction. However, overall, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Two Maids Douglasville. There is a clear lack of customer service; poor, ineffective, and apathetic management; and poor completion of the actual services . There is no way that any cleaning staff should have left the job the first time thinking that they conducted a deep clean, but from what Iâve observed from management (or the lack thereof), they probably know they can get away with it and will if the clients arenât persistent with following up with their complaints. The home should have been cleaned properly the first time and my issues should have been promptly addressed. As a result, we will be receiving our bi-weekly maintenance cleaning with...

After reading the positive reviews I was excited about booking a cleaning with Two Maids; however, my experience was not the best.
My first issue began when I called to book the serviceâI gave the representative the size of my home & was given a price. I even verified the size of my home after I was initially unsure if it was correct. The representative put my address in the system & told me my home was bigger than what I said, which caused her to significantly increase the price. To rectify this, she did offer a 10% discount.
When I scheduled my service I was given an 8:00-10:00 AM arrival window, & the cleaners did not arrive within this time frame. No one reached out to inform me they would be late, & I had to call Two Maids myself to figure out what caused the delay. The cleaners did not arrive until almost 11:30, & my service took about 4 hours to complete. This completely tied up my entire afternoon, & I had to reschedule plans.
When I called to discuss this, the first representative I spoke to was very dismissive of my concerns & was only focused on whether I was satisfied with the actual service. When I asked to speak to the manager, LaTanyaâwho, by the way, contacted me almost every day inquiring about booking a service, she was also dismissive & rude. I was only offered $20 off my next 5 cleanings, & when I communicated I did not intend to rebook, I was only offered $20 off the $500 price I received. She also laughed when I said $20 off a $500 total was not sufficient compensation. For someone who literally text me every day trying to get me to book a service, it was concerning how careless she was in regards to my experience.
The customer service in Douglasville is a big enough deterrent for me to not want to use this company again. From the debate about pricing when trying to book the service, to the cleaners being almost two hours late, to the two rude reps, including the manager, it is not worth the money.
My cleaning overall was okayâI took things off the list to reduce the time of cleaning, & they still missed areas that I specifically asked to be clean. One of them broke the hook in the shower where my loofa was hanging, & all she did was lay it on the counterâno apology or acknowledgement of it. The service is supposed to include the cleaning of the baseboards, but it should say only some of the baseboardsâŚbecause not all of them were cleaned. The vents were not cleaned, nor was the backsplash in the kitchen. The cleaners were nice, but that is not enough for me to consider booking with this company again.
It seems like the list of services they offer is too robust, & it should be reduced to what they...
Read moreI can't begin to describe how atrocious I found this business. I purchased the recurrent premium service with the intent of having the cleaners come twice a month. The response to my query was prompt and I was impressed with the level of detail described on their website. They were punctual, respectful, and efficient: 3 ladies done in an hour! Great. Except that I got home and my house looked virtually the same: clean, but obviously the house of two working parents with little kids running around. I made a complaint and the managers were great, listened, and booked me fast the next day to address the issues i raised. Great. I left my job early to go through and walk with them. The manager comes, WITH THE SAME TEAM, an exercise in humiliation, I imagine, for those ladies. The manager explains that she was surprised I complained because this was her "A team" and then tells me that 2/3 are new and everyone makes mistakes and I should give them another chance. So is it her "A team" or are they new? And if I wasn't giving you another chance, why in God's name are you in my house? I spend 15 minutes being bombarded with excuses walking through my home as these poor women are simultaneously being pitifully defended and shamed in front of their client. Disgraceful. I want my money's worth without a side of public degradation paraded in front of me, please. They are specifically told not to do anything but clean the exact spots I pointed out even as they tried to do more. Not even an attempt to over-appease, just enough to say they did what was asked. I could list all the things that were missed but what's the point? Suffice to say that the lists on their website of what will be done is nowhere near reality and they will do the absolute minimal to keep your business. They certainly...
