Why does a Douglasville pay a premium for Chinese food, when ALL the Chinese restaurants in the area serve us crap? Hunans food is junk! People on here saying it's good, get your head out of the ground. Travel a lil! We got sweet & sour chicken, it looked like corn dogs with dried up translucent "chicken" inside. Definitely, not made fresh. Black pepper chicken was 100% off brand Tyson frozen chicken nuggets with shredded chicken and corn meal inside. Tasted freezer burnt. My wife's Mei Fun was ok. I hadn't been here since COVID for similar reasons and decided tonight to give them another shot. That was a mistake. They got $45 of my hard earned money. My kids wouldn't eat. Ended up throwing $30 of it straight into the trash. GD it's not hard people. If you going to charge us 12.99 a meal, at least use real food and make it fresh. Unless you just that lazy, or stupid, and don't care about your clientele. Want to know what that's...
Read moreUpdate I notice some people saying the food is salty, but yesterday the takeout * was not salty enough*. I hope the owners keep the salt in. For people who don't want salt, Chinese takeout is probably not the best option! I have been here several times and the food is much better than any other Chinese restaurant (sit down or fast food) in Douglasville. I'm sad to see the bad reviews and I don't know what that's about. I always get vegetables with tofu, and yesterday I also got vegetable fried rice. This was enough food for two big meals for two people (4 meals) so very economical. The vegetables are fresh and crisp, nice sized broccoli florets in fried rice, crisp carrot slices. Not too salty at all, I added soy sauce because I need my salt! I would have given them 5 stars except for black plastic takeout containers which are not super safe, but you find...
Read moreYour Chinese food is absolute trash. You need to call in somebody to help you with your braiding recipe because you put pancake better all over my shrimp. I pulled the itty bitty shrimps out of the Pancake mix. The sauce is not authentic. It is definitely from a bottle. Super thick Tso general sauce is disgusting. It had no spice like the real Tso general that I remember eating. I will never come back to this restaurant. I always go to the China garden on Chapel Hill if you want some decent Chinese food I ordered the same thing there the breading did fall off the shrimp. However it was not pancake better and the sauce was not thick. They have pancake better all over their chicken as well. Very nasty. I told my kids. I understand if they threw it in the trash, the vegetable rice was decent and the spring roll was good. Do not get anything fried...
