La Esmeralda Bakery — Restaurant in Douglasville

I just went here yesterday to get my husband a cake for his birthday. The customer service sucks, the place is dirty. Also I bought a $45 cake and the lady told me if you use cash only then it’s $45 with no taxes or anything but if you use card then it’s $45 plus tax plus additional fee to use a card so my total was $50.05. Not many people these days carry a lot of cash and I already had the cake boxed up, so I just went ahead and agreed to pay it but People who spend $45 should not be charged more than just taxes. I will never go back to this bakery again. That was my first and last. Go to another bakery, don’t waste your time and money...

La Esmeralda Bakery did such an amazing job on my daughter’s 1st birthday cake! I asked for a Bluey theme and sent over an inspiration photo — and the final result looked exactly like what I envisioned (you can see it in the photo 🥹💙).

Let me just say, this tiny little place is absolutely amazing if I could give it 10 ⭐️ I would. The customer service is outstanding, they are so attentive, the Pan Dulce and conchas blancas are so soft they practically melt in your mouth.
