Pick up there all the time I love the prices and the products and honestly the employees. My cashier was Jeannie she was super sweet. I purchased 2 galvanized metal sign. There was a 40% off sign that it said "excludes our price". However while I was checking out another young lady with long brown hair I did not get her name took a tablet out and told me my signs (which do not have the yellow our price tag on it) is not part of the sale. When I asked her why they were not part of the sale she flipped her tablet to face me and said "it's just not"... I purchased the sign because the price is still very good however I think a better explanation should have been given to me whether it wasn't the signs that were on sale or it didn't meet the price criteria of the sale which I do know sometimes the products have to be $4.99 or more but the sale sign itself did not say that. I'm not upset that I didn't get the discount at all It was just the fact that she turned her tablet to face me and said it's just not. I cannot recall a time that I had some type of question in a store and was told it's just not or I don't know without them at least trying to figure it out. Once that young lady did walk away My cashier apologized that that happened because she seemed to understand that I would have liked to know why. I always get greeted when I enter the store as well but I...
Read moreI've been shopping HobbyLobby for years. They have a nice variety of merchandise including home decor, season decor, crafts, art supplies, fabric and party decorations. For the most part, I've beenxpleased with the decor item's I've purchased there - as long as they are INDOOR decor.
Outdoor decor... I'll have to be more scurinizing because I've had quite a few items that I bought there that the paint peeled right off or they got rusty and ruined. 6 items I boight this past spring that were "outdoor" decor were ruined from paint peeling right off.
Craft supplies... I don't think they really have much larger a selection than the other big men's name craft store, and not as much fabric as the other big women's name craft store. Price wise... maybe a little less expensive than the others, but I think for craft items, it really depends on the item. I've found the best price for a certain item at each of the big stores, so it just depends.
As for prices on decor... they are mostly comparable to other places. Don't let their deep "discount" price fool you, though. Their "discount" prices are not any lower than the regular prices of other stores...
Read moreThe last few times I've been here, specifically for frames/mats, the older man at the frame shop has completely ignored me. I stand at the counter and he's made eye contact with me several times but doesn't even bother to come out and assist me. The only time he has come out was when I asked if he had a trash can to throw away the packaging for matting that I had installed myself. He then accused me of stealing the matting. Had he had assisted me, which is his job, he would've seen me come in with it. He then proceeds to give me attitude and saying I should not have put the frame together myself. Well bud, it is YOUR job to do it, but you'd rather just stand in the back and stare at me. The most recent time I came here, again for frames and mats, he again ignored me completely. However when an older white lady came up to the counter, he showed up and was happy to assist her within 30 seconds of her standing there. I don't even get a "Hello" or any kind of acknowledgement whatsoever. Cashiers are rude as well. Also have to agree with the other comments here, You're a craft store, stop peddling religion in a business. Man, I...
