The employees are incredibly nice and helpful where they can be. The guy that sold me my dishwasher couldn't have possibly known they were going to send out incompetent people that failed to complete the removal and installation of my new appliance. The guy that came out looked at the bottom of the dishwasher and immediately said "I can't take this out because whoever installed the floor installed it over the dishwasher..." Or something. I said that's not possible because the floor was replaced WAAAAAAAAAAAY before the dishwasher was installed.. he insisted the dishwasher was under the floor and we had to either take the tiles out ourselves or get someone to come out and take them out. He showed me a video he took of the under side of the dishwasher where it would get stuck on the part of the floor where the tiles started. I noticed 2 bolts on either side of the bottom of the dishwasher. Not knowing anything about appliance installation, I just simply mentioned the bolts "maybe just turn those bolts and see if that helps??" Nope, not that he has been doing this for blah blah blah and he knows what he's doing and blah blah blah... Okay I didn't feel like arguing because if he didn't know what he was doing I wasn't gonna force it. So he left. We were planning on calling someone to figure it out the next day but my husband (who is completely blind in the left eye and about 70% blind in his right eye....) decided to take a look. I didn't even mention the bolts to him and he said that's exactly what it was that wasn't allowing the dishwasher to pass the threshold right there... So that's where we're at right now. I waited over a year to make a move and get a dishwasher after my other one broke less than a year after we bought it. Home Depot, please send out more knowledgeable people to do these jobs. If I could have done it myself, I definitely wouldn't have paid someone $100 to install it... šššš AND I STILL HAVE TO HAND WASH DISHES TONIGHT!!!!! IM TIRED!!!!! SEND AN ADULT, PLEASE!!!
The pictures are of the old dishwasher sitting in the middle of my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe typically shop at a different Home Depot, but because we were in the area we stopped at this location with the sole intention of purchasing a new refrigerator. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bill. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us great insight and advice for each fridge we were interested in. He never pressured us to buy anything but made sure we were well informed. He went so far as to make sure we had the right type of water line for our new fridge. Bill was able to secure a quick delivery time for us and our transaction was complete. We had to check out at the register instead of the appliance counter because we were splitting our payment. The cashier made an error in entering the amount of cash we paid And because we had a service agreement with the appliance purchase, it was not a simple void in the transaction. The store manager, Flo had to get involved to rectify the situation. When she couldnāt fix it right away she involved another manager, Brittany. Although they were able to rectify the transaction eventually, the customer service register malfunctioned requiring the assistance of 2 more associates Lizzie and Caitlyn. The whole process took upwards of an hour to fix, which was way longer than we anticipated spending on our Saturday off ; especially because the transaction with Bill was so smooth. The experience was very frustrating but Flo and Brittany did everything they could to apologize and rectify the situation. Flo even had her hot lunch sitting on the counter getting cold while trying to fix everything. I appreciate how diligently they worked to seek resolve for us when the initial issue was solely on the original cashier. At the end of the day we are very happy with our purchase and are excited to have it delivered. I am very thankful for the great customer service from all involved even though it was...

On September 3rd, 2019 I purchased a GE washing machine from the DG Home Depot. At the time, while looking at the associates computer with him, we selected September 13th, 2019 for the delivery date. I have come to find out that Home Depot does not deliver their appliances, they use a third party delivery company. On September 12th I receive a call from the delivery company stating that my order is delayed and wont be delivered until September 25th. My wife calls the store and is told there is an "error" with the order and we are stuck with the delivery on the 25th. She asks the store to have a manager call us. After 2 days with no call from a manager I call and one of the Assistant Managers tells me there is a manufacturer back order as the cause for the delay. OK fine. Unfortunately on September 19th I receive automated call from the delivery company saying my order has been delayed again until September 28. As luck would have it, that day wont work for us for a delivery. So I call today and speak with a manager (very unhelpful) who passes me to a salesperson in the appliance department, who tells me they cannot contact the delivery company on a weekend and that I have to call on Monday morning. When I voice my displeasure with this whole process and ask what Home Depot is going to do to make up for my poor experience I am told "you received a good discount when you ordered the item". Yes, I did receive a good discount BECAUSE I USED A HOME DEPOT COUPON! So I will take time out of my work day on Monday morning to call the delivery company and reschedule my deliver into October - now a full month since my...
