Literally useless. I came in to their balloon center, who h is placed at the checkout, which is supposed encourage people to buy balloons on their way out. I assumed, based on this and the fact that they promote their balloons, that they would be able to fill up balloons there. They have a helium tank, and a person at the counter. Easy peasy. Or you'd think, if you were operating with a functioning mind. But boy howdy was I wrong. This place apparently doesn't do walk ins for the balloons, which seems odd because why on earth wouldn't you, especially if it's in the check-out, this promoting the idea of getting a balloon. Nope, they only do it by appointment apparently, because I guess they are too inept pump air into a balloon, despite that being their job (I later checked, and nowhere on their site do they say they do not do balloons for walk-ins, in fact, they encourage it". They offered for me to "rent a tank" when I literally just need five balloons. I of course demanded to see a manager, because this wa ridiculous. The manager was equally as rude and standoffish. They apparently don't offer the one service that one would expect of a balloon center. They apparently don't do what Jewel dollar tree will do free of charge. I, a dummy, went here because I thought I'd be getting better quality and service. I couldn't have been further from the mark. So yeah, avoid this place, they don't work, don't want to work, and are extremely rude, which seems like a bold move in this...
Read moreThis Michaels is a solid location for art and craft supplies, with a decent selection of seasonal items and decor. It’s usually clean and well-organized, and I rarely have trouble finding the basics I need. The employees are generally helpful when asked, and the checkout process is pretty fast even during the busy seasons. There’s a good amount of parking in the plaza and it’s easy to get in and out. I’ve come here for everything from poster boards to sketchbooks and have always found what I needed. It’s not the biggest Michaels, but it has all the essentials and gets the job done without much hassle. The framing section is worth checking out too if you need something custom. Prices are standard and they often have good coupons online. I’ve also noticed they do a decent job keeping shelves stocked, even during the holiday rush. If you’re working on a school project, a DIY craft, or just browsing for ideas, this location is a reliable stop. I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. It’s not flashy or over the top, but it’s consistent and dependable for anyone into crafts, hobbies, or simple...
Read moreI usually like Michael's as a unique craft, hobby, and general decoration store, but you guys lost my business on this one. It's the first week of June and I am looking for summer, 4th of July, and pool party decor, but the whole store is full of nothing but fall, Thanksgiving, and CHRISTMAS. I know retail is usually a season ahead, but 6 plus months is too much. Couldn't find a single thing in your entire store that could be summer decor, which seems completely counterintuitive to your actual customer base. I realize that store level management has no say over corporate policies, but please pass along the message that your customers don't need Christmas decorations in early June. Had to pull my business from you guys and purchase off Amazon instead. Bad...
