update Tammy called me right away to apologize for the incident and offered a nail redo and price adjustment. She understands that the sticker shock can throw a person off, especially as a parent. I did like the salon very much and my pedicure was very nice. I will go back, knowing what a kind woman Tammy is. Let me start with it was my 12 year olds birthday and she wanted nail extensions with cat eye design. On the website it said $70 plus $15 for the cat eye. When we came in I told them we never did nails before so I was not sure what would be best. Another lady explained the options and recommended gel. The girl who did her nails was not very informative, but ok. She did her nails for like 3 hours, which I found odd. When I checked she said that the price will be $125 and I was shocked. She said the design is extra. My daughter showed her a picture of a swirl and that girl put all that on my kid without even checking with me or making me aware of the extra cost. My cousin looked at the nails after and could not believe how sloppy they looked. Horrible work. I have no experience with it, so I didn’t know what to expect. This girl took this opportunity to make money for a horrific job. I told her she should really make people aware of additional cost, especially if a minor asked for the extra items. My daughter even said if she had known she would have never asked for the swirl. I didn’t want to make a scene as it was my kids birthday, so I let it go. But it...

The service is not consistent. Gel polish was left all over my toes. I asked for acrylic, and I was told the person who does acrylic is not there, after he already started with my nails. I said fine, though I didn’t understand how nobody in a nail salon knows how to do acrylic. Then when I showed what design I wanted, a design that I chose from their valentine day post and the only reason I chose them in the first place, the guy doing my nails told me that he has no patience for design, and he will call someone else to do it. Two other ladies came, and they both told me that the design is just something random that the owner posted, then they told me that the two girls who do design are out for two weeks so I can come back then. They suggested that I finish my nails, pay them then go to a different salon for the design, and pay over there too!

I am making an update to this review because of how Tammy handled the situation. She reached out to me and offered me a new set, or a refund. She also reassured me that this will not happen again and how much the customer experience is important to her. She went as far as leaving her phone number so I can reach out the next time that I am coming in. I would definitely go back and believe that my experience was a one-off situation. While on vacation, I found myself in a bit of a nail emergency. One of my nails broke and I needed to get it fixed ASAP as well as get an unexpected fill-in, so I searched for a local nail salon. I'm so glad I found this place and even more thankful I ended up in the hands of Anna, the nail tech who helped me! From the moment I sat down, Anna made me feel completely at ease. She was so kind, patient, and genuinely interested in making sure I was happy with the result. I was a little anxious, since I didn’t know what to expect, but Anna took the time to understand my expectations and suggested a few tips to help my nails last longer during the rest of my trip. The atmosphere of the salon was welcoming and relaxing, and Anna's calming presence made the whole experience enjoyable. I’m so grateful for the care Anna took with my nails—if I lived here, I’d definitely be a regular!
