Yesterday was the 4th or 5th time our dog has been taken to get groomed here. The first few times they did a good job, however last time the only thing my wife asked was that they cut around his face good since it gets long quicker and looks funny, however they barely even trimmed his face. We went back because we had issues with PetSmart loosing all of his papers before and leaving him complete for 2 hours before calling us to pick him up. Yesterday our dog went in at 10am for a cut that normally takes about 2 hours. At 2 pm my wife called to see what was going on, and they told her that he was done, but that they "just noticed they had cut him." The cut was about 1.5 inches long on his neck and required 15 stitches. On top of that they shaved him completely so he looks even more ridiculous. Then they had the audacity to charge my wife for the grooming, giving her 20% off for her "troubles. Yes, they paid his vet bill and reimbursed us for the grooming after I went in to get mad at them. Listen, I understand that mistakes happen and I imagine it can be difficult to cut dogs hair, however that is what they get paid to do. My issue with it is that they tried to play it off like they "didn't even notice it happened" and didn't notify us immediately. Read moreI took my dog into the Red Bandana this morning for a bath and nail trim. She’s been bathed at another location nearby and they would have me drop her off for several hours when she went in. The last time I took her to the original groomer she seemed really scared and nervous. I decided to listen to my dog and find a new groomer. This was my second time at Red Bandana. After a half hour of her being there, I got a call from the groomer, Shawnty saying that something was wrong with my dog. She was crying in pain when Shawnty touched her back leg. I ran over and she explained to me that it appeared that maybe she had been abused at her previous groomer and that she had only bathed her but didn’t want to have her scared of her so she set up a plan that I would bring her in next week and she would trim one nail and then give her a treat. She really cared about my dog and wanted to make sure she felt safe with her and to build a relationship so she would trust Shawnty. I was so impressed! She cared more about my dog than she did about making a buck! She has made a client for life! I am so grateful that she was willing to help her out and be patient with her and that she cared more about my dog than she did about anything else. I will never go...
Read moreI came in with my sister and fell in love with this place. We received great service in picking out a good dog food for my dog and we absolutely fell in love with the groomer! We were impressed at how she handled a very difficult customer in front of us who was being rude and kept changing her mind on what she wanted with her 3 dogs. The groomer was very professional and friendly. She kept a smile on her face and continued to make the changes that this girl was demanding. We got out of there quite late because of this, but was so impressed how well our shih tzu was groomed after all that this lady put her through! I want to give a shout-out to this groomer as she obviously loves what she does, and it shows in how she treats the dogs and customers. We love Red Bandana and will be shopping and bringing our dogs here...
