HORRIBLE customer service is an understatement! Drove for over an hour to rent a tool at the Carpentersville, IL location. It was placed on hold for me by sales associate Teresa. As I'm walking in I see the tool being driven off by someone else! After speaking with Teresa inside I was told I only had 30 mins to be in. If that's the case then tell people that when they call because I don't even live 30 minutes away! Yes, I tried reserving it online but it was only listed as available at 5 pm, which is why I called to see if I could come sooner. Then was told I cannot get compensation for my time wasted but could get the tool for a discount on my next trip. AS IF I'd even drive back over there to waste more of my time!!!! What a joke. Also spoke to manager Al and Claire, also no help with compensating my wasted day! Mind you I was wanting the towing auger to plant $5,000 worth of trees I bought from Home Depot! I have recently been doing a lot of remodeling and purchasing a lot of hardware store products. The next thing on my list was some baseboard so I was shopping around at a gentleman asked me if I needed any assistance and let me know that they had some sales and promotions going on for garage door openers and Install. This was actually next on the list. I just hadn’t shopped around for yet and he gave me all the information that I needed and provided the business cards so I was able to come back. The customer service at this location is really good, almost everyone you come in contact with will ask you if you need assistance and really knows what they’re talking about and if they don’t they Does. BEWARE.. The Home Depot stores are hiring the 3th party company for delivering product to customers , in my case Home Depot did hired company called US PACK LOGISTICS for delivering my order from Home Depot ..this Logistics company is absolutely irresponsible for any communications with customers . They never show up on 1st set date9/30/22 Friday for delivery , on 2th delivery 10/3/22 attempt they show up at 7:40 pm ...when the time was set for 7am - 5 pm . And on next day i have to call hundred times some to answer from them , and the most funny was ..the NEXT available appointment will be for the following Monday 10/10/22 ... So i did waist 2 weeks of waiting and now i did end up to Canceled my order , and re- order the same product from...
