Back in the Day Books — Local services in Dunedin

Went to this store at around 8 o clock on a Thursday, and despite Google saying that the store is open, the store has paper covering the facade of the store. Seems that the store has closed for renovations or for good, there was no sign on the front and the door was locked.

Thanks for the info! Wish yall could have set up temporary changes to the hours or something on Google, but I understand. I'll most likely change it higher upon seeing the location, browsing through the inventory, and getting to meet you. Definitely annoyed to have wasted my time coming prior to you being open, but I also understand that yall are probably under a ton of stress of opening up a new place, so I truthfully cant be very mad. It's super special to me that I can travel just a couple of miles from my home and find a first-rate bookstore right in downtown Dunedin. As an avid reader who prefers to leave digital behind when I'm reading for pleasure, Back in the Day Books really gives me everything I could want when shopping for books. From the latest novels to special editions and classics, the store is well organized and a joy to peruse. I love that new and gently used books are organized together by topic so that I can see all options without leaving a section. In addition to books, there are other items that book lovers enjoy as well. Salespeople are friendly and knowledgeable and the shop itself is modern, yet has a cozy feel. My dad got me a gift card to this store for Christmas. I absolutely adore this bookstore! These local bookstores are so difficult to find nowadays. There is no substitute for looking around in a friendly atmosphere and finding things you didn't even come in looking for. That's one advantage over online shopping. Also, the employees at this bookstore are so incredibly nice and helpful. I love their selections, I love their store, I love the local artist work on the walls, I love absolutely everything about this store! It would be heartbreaking to see it go away. A great must see for tourists and locals alike! And I love the book collection I've started....
