Unfortunately the wait is about 30 minutes around 700 pm for inside air conditioned seating, partially because some of the seats are gone for the evening band setting up.
Unfortunately also, is the vast amount of cigarette smoke on in the out door waiting area. Not so good with 4 kids with you.
Since the band was about to start the hostess offered to coordinate the furthest table away from the band to help protect the little ears of our 4 kids.
We waited about 40 minutes for our table and were all a sweaty mess by time we got seated because of the June humidity outside while we waited.
Bathrooms are unisex, 2 of them with one hole each. Not dirty when we used them.
Live music started at 802pm. We sat as far back as possible. Was a bit loud which made it difficult to have a conversation at the table.
Kids menu available.
Wait for food took a little longer than expected but they apologized without prompting.
Brandi was our waitress and she was very nice and very attentive, way moreso than most places we have been to in the past year. We didn't have to ask for refillsfrink refills once.
You must ask for Ketchup which comes out in small paper containers. The bbq sauce is very vinegary. The onion rings were bland to us, with no flavor. The kids Mac and cheese meal looks like Kraft Mac and cheese and comes only with a drink and nothing else.
They have a military discount but it was 10% off of one meal, so my discount was under $1.65 on a 71 dollar check
The new Dunedin parking plan is a nightmare. If you run out of time before your meal is done, there is a payment station right outside 4lthe door, however the option 2, to add time will not allow you to proceed because the + time button will not add time. You are forced to do option 1 only which is to start a new ticket . this is obviously a way for the city of Dunedin to increase their revenue at...
Read moreI have to say I was disappointed that a couple of my favorite things were gone from the menu except I was amazed and delighted by some of the new items that I got to try. In the pictures you'll see I had the smoked corned beef sandwich called the Montreal and it had their famous Granny Smith apple coleslaw on it (also pictured in the small side dish) and I got waffle sweet potato fries as my side dish. I couldn't have had a better corned beef experience. And my friend had the combo platter that you also see in the picture and I must mention that all of the meats that he had the sausage the corned beef brisket and the ribs were all excellent he couldn't believe how good it was and how much food he got . We both had a hard time finishing really. If you look in the distance on the left you'll see a little crock of their wonderful gouda smoked macaroni and cheese with corn salsa on top. This is one of the best sides you can ever have with a meal. We had a wonderful server and it was just a really good experience at the end of a very hard day both of us working to get his restaurant up and running again after the two hurricanes pretty much destroyed half of his...
Read moreThe smell from the wood 🪵 , burning in the smoker, made us choose this restaurant as we were walking by. The atmosphere was inviting. The hostess was attentive and offered us different places to sit right away. We chose to eat on the patio… Great choice! There was live music and the Buccaneers football game 🏉 was being projected on the wall. We saw that they’re dog friendly too, so we’ll bring our pup 🐶 next time.
The server came by right way and we tried some mixed drinks. I had the Sweet tea Mojito and my wife had the Dunedin diver tool (or something like that). Hers was awesome and mine was ok. My son ordered a half rack of St. Louis style ribs 🤤 (damn good) and had the waist watcher (2 meats & 2 sides). I choose the beef brisket (ok) and 1/4 dark chicken 🍗 (good) with fried green tomatoes 🍅(good) and Cole slaw (ok). My son had the tomatoes as well with the Gouda Mac-n-cheese 🤤(damn good). My wife had the Mediterranean salad with chicken (looked good).
All in all, the experience was wonderful and we found our first BBQ restaurant in the area. We just moved from the BBQ capital of AL. I’m a BBQ lover and I approve...
