Edgewater Park & Dunedin Marina and right next to each other, and both are a nice place to enjoy walking out to the small pier, playing on their children’s outdoor park area (within steps), have a picnic lunch or dine out, and the people watching is great. The parks children play area is well taken care of and a nice place to enjoy, and is walkable from downtown just like the DM. This is a great area to enjoy fishing or just a walk to clear your head. Downtown Dunedin is a very walkable area with a pretty pavilion right Next Door to it. The marina is visible from the park so you can see the boats that are docked there. It’s a very pretty setting and we use it quite often since we live near downtown Dunedin. It’s a very scenic area so doing photos is easy and enjoyable. So it’s just an overall beautiful environment. We drove around the Edgewater Drive neighborhood looking at the lovely old homes either lovingly preserved and cared for or refurbished or updated. We picked up delicious sandwiches from Lonnie's, a landmark sandwich shop. Try the Sonnybird. Fresh. Homemade and fabulous! I had the pressed Chipotle chicken sandwich on Cuban bread. Wow! So, we drove five minutes through downtown and parked at the Marina to enjoy lunch and the view. The park is made for a quiet stroll or just a quiet moment.
