I’m giving this place 2 stars because it was fun. The pricing is crazy compared to the quality of the candle you actually get. They tell you where to fill the scent liquids to depending on the size of your candle. I wish I would have put more in and not listened because my candle barely gives off a scent. I used it first with my candle light because I didn’t want the wick to turn black but I got the smallest scent, people coming into my room didn’t even notice I had a candle burning. So after that I lit the actual wick and same thing. Barely any scent which sucks because I love the way my candle smells, it just doesn’t smell much at all. Also after my candle is done burning, the candle structure doesn’t return back to how it was. The wax seems cheap and dries up with bumps and grooves and even wax on the side of the candle jar. I believe it was about a $50 candle(I didn’t pay). For that price it should be potent and be visually appealing. The session it self is pretty short, maybe an hour tops because there’s not much to do. You can buy a candle making kit at home and you get a better product (speaking from experience). Lastly I’m not sure if he is the owner or just works there. But there was a kind of rude man who made a lot of people in my group feel a bit annoyed. He came around smelling everyone’s candles and told them what exactly he “smelled” from our candle and basically telling us we needed more of something because he didn’t like our scent… I thought the whole idea was to make a candle I liked, not one the owner approves of. Maybe come around and compliment everyone’s candles instead of offering advice that people don’t want. I very clearly asked for help when I needed it and the ladies were kind enough to help nicely. He should take some notes from them. Very nice little store and a a great idea just needs some tweaks to make the experience better. I attached some pictures of my candle and the way it dried back up (I know the circle in the middle is from me not burning it all the way). Though you can very clearly see the quality of the wax on the candle. Sometimes when the liquid gets too hot and I have burned it too long it will literally...

Read moreSea Love Dunedin was such a phenomenal experience. Over the last several years, I have researched fragrances and how they can have a negative impact on our health. This led me to researching candle companies that don’t utilize the harmful ingredients, and Sea Love is one of them! When I found out that this Maine based company was coming to Florida, I was ecstatic. I knew that I wanted to smell all of their delicious scents and to create my own. Now, I’m 30 weeks pregnant with my first baby and was able to bring my husband to Dunedin where we made our very own nontoxic candles. The staff was attentive, funny, and knowledgeable. We had the best time making something special that we know won’t be harmful for our baby to smell when she arrives. While there might be many other options for candle making companies in this area, Sea Love’s nontoxic candle making experience should be your...
