Jayne's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Eagan

I was just at Jayne's Hallmark Shop to pick up some Christmas Cards that I had set aside for me a couple weeks ago so I could buy them at an upcoming sale. They told me that they had put the cards back on the shelf so other customers could buy them at the sale. When I went to look for them, they were no longer available at their store. They made no attempt to try to locate these cards at another Hallmark store or online. I told them that this was very poor customer service, and they should tell their customers ahead of time if they were going to do this, because I was depending on these cards. When I got home, I was able to locate these cards on the Hallmark website. I have been one of their best customers through the years, buying numerous cards and gift items there. At first this store seemed really nice, it was clean and a staff member came up to me and said hello and asked if I needed anything. This was great until I told the worker no and I noticed that she didn’t go back behind the register like where she was originally. No, she followed me around the store. I don’t know if I came off as wanting to steal something to her or if she thought I might actually need help, but couldn’t bring myself to ask for it. This entire experience made me uncomfortable that I ended up leaving after she followed me around the store for a solid five minutes. An underrated gem in the Eagan community; sometimes its nice to be able to browse cards in store instead of online, or at a local pharmacy. Their selection does not disappoint! They also have a huge assortment of gifts for all sorts of occasions. I have bought some of my grandma's favorite collectibles here, Christmas time is our favorite for all of the unique ornaments. Staff is super kind and helpful, and always take care of making sure your purchase is treated with love while packaging it up...
