I have been going to the Starbucks location off of Cliff and 35E for quiet some time now because it is on my way to work in the morning. Today has been my last straw at this location. When I arrived at the store this morning the line for the drive thru the line was backed up all the way to Darque Tan. Per usual it took forever to even get to the ordering board and then forever to get to the window to get my beverage. Then when I do get to the window, my beverage is incorrect. I had ordered a venti and received a grande, after which I had told the lady in the drive thru that I had ordered a venti. Then I proceeded to sit at the drive thru window for 5 minutes ( I timed it) while waiting for a new drink to be made and the line around the building got increasingly longer. The drink I had ordered was a venti Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino with 2 shot of espresso blended in and the lady taking my order repeated my order after I had told her what I wanted. When my drink was remade to be the correct size I did not receive those shots in my drink. I under stand that this store has been going though hiring new staff but this store has always been horribly slow. They did have a sign in the drive through window for a while about hiring new people, but clearly that staff isn't doing their job. I shouldn't have to wait in line for 15-20 minutes to get my coffee in the morning. Also last week when I was at this location in the morning they had someone outside handing out samples in the drive thru. When the line is covering the back of the building, have that employee inside making drinks to help push the line. If you want to hand out samples do it at the window instead of wasting an employee on that. I have worked in the Customer Service industry for year and I understand things happen, but it has been far too long for this store. Read moreCouple of weeks ago I had ordered a Venti pour-over coffee in-store at this location. I was informed that this pour-over takes at least 10mins as it's made to order. I agreed, paid and waited. After a good 15-20mins, I asked about my order, and I was informed that the staff had forgotten about my order and apologized and offered to cancel the order and refund me. While I drove this far just to get a cup of coffee I accepted their apology and suggested I'd wait and get my coffee at last. This took additional 15mins to be done and in the end while picking up my coffee their offered me two Service Recovery Cards $4 worth each (the balance on these cards does not expire) for the order issue and my time wasted, which I found was a good gesture. Until today when I ordered a coffee at another Starbucks location in the cities and offered one of those Service Recovery Cards to pay for it, the staff informed me that the card had NO BALANCE in it! I suggested them to check again but was in vain. This was really an EMBARASSING experience for me, standing there in line with people waiting behind me and the card offered by Starbucks itself had no balance in it. The staff at that location apologized to me on behalf the Starbucks' bad service and was embarrassed herself too on hearing the story about the card.

Then this week, I arrived 4 minutes after my mobile order was placed, the employee acted like the she couldn’t find my order on the pos and said mobile orders take 5 - 10 minutes and i need to wait the 5-10 min before coming or it’s a waste of our time and yours. The estimated time I was given was 3-8 minutes and I arrived at 4. I understand drive through times are watched by corporate but if my mobile isn’t ready it’s the exact same as if i never mobile ordered, and ordered on spot.
