WELL I ADVISE YOU TO CONTIUE SEARCHING BECAUSE THIS ESTABLISHMENT DOES NOT LIVE UP TO THE NAME “ELEVATION” . . . TO BEGIN I WILL START BY SAYING THIS. . . I AM NOT A RESIDENT HERE BUT THANK GOD I DODGED THE BULLET. I WANT TO LET YOU ALL IN ON MY EXPERIENCE IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO MAKE THIS PLACE A POTENTIAL HOME AND IF YOU ARE IN THESE BEGINNING STEPS ; SCOUTING THE PROPERTY, GETTING A FEEL FOR IT, WELL I WANT TO MAKE YOU AWARE OF A FEW THINGS. . . 1) YES THE PROPERTY IS NICE 2) YES THE AREA IS CONVENIENT 3) YOU CANT TRUST ANYONE IN THE LEASING OFFICE INCLUDING PROPERTY MANAGER WHICH IS A GOOD 80% OF THE REASON YOU SHOULD RECONSIDER. THROUGH MY EXPERIENCE AND FROM WHAT I READ EVERYONE ELSES AS WELL, THESE CHICKS IN THE OFFICE ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND HAVE A LACK OF COMMUNICATION LIKE NO OTHER. YOU WONT NOTICE IN THE BEGINNING OF THE PROCESS UNTIL YOUR MONEY GETS INVOLVED. . . THATS WHEN THEY KNOW THEY GOT YOU LOCKED IN AND CAN TAKE THE MASK OFF. . . . IN THIS PROCESS BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THIS PROPERTY ATTEMPTED TO STEAL $215 FROM ME!!!! GET INTO IT BACK IN THE BEGINNING OF NOVEVEMBER I INQUIRED ABOUT LEASING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT WITH A CONSULTANT NAMED SIERRA. . . SHE SEEMED NICE IN THE BEGINNING BUT ONE THING TO KNOW ABOUT HER IS SHE COULD HAVE A WATCH HANDY AND STILL COULDNT TELL TIME TO KEEP AN APPOINTMENT OR RETURN A PHONE CALL. UPON MY VISIT SIERRA WAS A LITTLE BUSY WITH PRIOR GUEST TO GIVE ME A TOUR SO THE LOVELY MS.SHAZAE ASSISTED ME WITH THE TOURING AND SELLING ME ON MAKING THIS PROPERTY HOME. I RAN TO THE NEAREST MONEY ORDER ESTABLISHMENT TO MAKE MY FUNDS AVAILABLE AND RETURNED TO SHAZAE TO GET THE PROCESS STARTED. . . . THE VERIFICATION PROCESS WAS A LITTLE LONG BUT I CAME UP TO THE PROPERTY ALMOST EVERYDAY FOR 2 DAYS TO PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION NEEDED TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS. AFTER EVERYTHING ON MY END WAS COMPLETE THE ONLY THING I WAS WAITING ON WAS SIERRA TO CONTACT ME BACK. I CALLED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS IN WHICH I WAS TOLD SHE WAS TOO BUSY OR SHE WOULD ANSWER AND TELL ME SHES STILL WAITING TO TAKE A LOOK AT MY FOLDER TO FINALIZE EVERYTHING. EVERY PROMISE MADE TO CALL ME WITH AN UPDATE SHE FAILED! SO ME BEING PERSISTENT AND ON A TIME CONSTRAINT TO MOVE, ON THE 3rd OR 4th DAY OF JUST WAITING I DECIDED TO TAKE A VISIT TO THE PROPERTY TO SEE WHAT THE HOLD UP WAS. THEY HAVE BEEN SITTING WITH MY MONEY FOR OVER A WEEK NOW AND I HAD NO RESPONSE AS TO IF I WAS APPROVED. I FINALLY REACH THE PROPERTY TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE WHO COULD GIVE ME ANSWERS AND AGAIN SHAZAE HAD TO STEP IN PLACE OF SIERRA TO GET ME THE ANSWERS I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR. . . IN ALL OF 15 MINUTES I FIND OUT THE UNIT I APPLIED FOR ( THE RENOVATED UNIT) I DID NOT MEET INCOME REQUIREMENTS FOR BY JUST A HAIR BUT THE CLASSIC UNIT AS THEY CALL IT I DID BUT IT WASNT READY FOR ANOTHER FEW MONTHS. EXTREMELY UPSET I WAS BUT I JUST ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK ( WHICH COULD TAKE 30 DAYS SO SHE SAID) AND CONTINUED ABOUT MY DAY. A FEW DAYS LATER AFTER TAKING A LOOK AT THE WEBSITE AND SEEING THE CLASSIC UNIT I CALLED TO SPEAK BACK WITH SIERRA INQURING ON HOW SOON IT WOULD BE FOR THE CLASSIC UNIT TO BE OCCUPIED BEING THAT IM NEEDING TO MOVE BY DECEMBER 1st AND IF I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING ADDITIONAL TO APPLY. . . SHE TOLD ME SHE WOULD FIND OUT AND GET BACK WITH ME THAT EVENING OR THE NEXT MORNING. (LIES SHE TOLD). I APPLIED AT ANOTHER PROPERTY. . GOT APPROVED AND CALLED BACK AND TOLD SHAZAE THAT MY INQUIRY DOESNT MATTER AND TO MAKE SURE MY FUNDS WERE RETURNED. SIERRA THEN CALLS BACK AND SAYS IVE BEEN APPROVED FOR SOMETHINGI DIDNT APPLY FOR. I GAVE HER THE RUN DOWN AND DIDNT HEAR FROM HER AGAIN. ITS NOW MID DECEMBER PASSED 30 DAYS AND I HAVE YET SEEN MY CHECK. CALLED BACK AND THEY SAID I WOULDNT GET MY CHECK BACK BECAUSE I CANCELLED ON THEM. PERFECT TIMING ALMOST A MONTH LATER TO TELL ME. ASKED FOR PROPERTY MANAGER AND WAS DENIED, LEFT VOICEMAILS AND EMAILS FOR THE PROPERTY MANAGER NO RESPONSE. CALLED COOPERATE...
DO NOT MOVE HERE! My experience with “CHARMELL” was horrible! She talks too much and conversations with her about simple concerns are time consuming. She’s rude, she lies, and isn’t up front. She speaks with a attitude and my fiancé had a annoying experience with her as well. 1ST PROBLEM...... My fiancé and I came by to do a self guided tour. After viewing the model unit, we left and decided to complete a application. I called in to ask a simple question in regards to how many 1 bedroom units they had available and the possible move in date. When I called a different person answered and while on the phone getting my questions answered, “CHARMELL” called me 3 times when she noticed I was speaking with someone else. After I got off the phone I called her back and basically told her I was returning the miss calls from her. “CHARMELL” started ranting on NONSTOP about how I shouldn’t be speaking to anyone else that works there and that I’m only to work with her because she started my application.... (So childish). She also stated that nobody there will have the same information. Now I’ve lived in a few apartment communities before and one thing I know for sure is that the ENTIRE OFFICE should be on the same page when it comes to information about leasing. It shouldn’t have been made into a big deal if I called and asked a general question. 2ND PROBLEM....... The Day of my move in, she ensured that the unit was “move in ready”, but it most certainly was NOT! The unit was DIRTY, had yellow stains going down the wall, big dent in the dining room wall, the wood rail going down the stairs was broke, light switches was dirty and the front door looked as if it had been broken into. “CHARMELL” also NEVER mention that the unit she told me I couldn’t see till the day of move in, was located on the back side of the building and that I would have to walk around back to get my unit. She never mentioned that the unit wasn’t facing the parking lot! When viewing the unit the day of move in, I mentioned all of my fiancé and I concerns and this rude bitter woman told us, “Listen the complex was build back in the 1900s, it’s not going to be brand spanking new. You’re going to see scratches and minor issues”. Like who says that to someone who just got approve to move into the community!!! Then she also didn’t even apologize for not mentioning the unit was behind the building and not facing the parking lot. 3RD ISSUE.......... After dealing with her rude mouth and bitter angry soul and on top of the unit being unsafe & not sanitary, me and my fiancé decided to not move in. We rather pay $100 more at the Meridian at Redwine NEXT DOOR. Ask for a woman name Dakota, she gave the most warmest welcome, sweet soul, vibrate energy and she most definitely delivered outstanding customer service! Unfortunately at the time she only had one unit available and it was to 3weeks away and we needed to do a immediate move in due to the inconveniences at “Elevation 3505”. I have a friend that lives at elevation 3505 and he told me how wicked acting “CHARMELL” is also after finding out I was about to move there. Me and my fiancé found a beautiful upscale loft in buckhead that we ended up moving too. We are paying $200 more than what we would have paid for the run down unit at “Elevation 3505”, but we don’t care. That extra $200 is paying for our peace and it’s definitely more nice and spacious. God stopped our move to elevation 3505, and I’m glad I listened to the bad energy “CHARMELL” was giving off. Protect your peace and most importantly make sure you move somewhere that’s big on customer service. During this COVID-19 pandemic, no one has time to deal with anyone who is battling demons in their soul and making a move in difficult! I expressed to “Charmell” that we are dealing with the lost of two of our parents, due to the Covid-19 and we are trying to move and get a piece of mind while we get our house built. Read moreI recently moved here the end of May and I have been having issues since I moved in. Initially, I was very excited to move here because I was having my baby. When I moved in, I can tell that the tenants before me were not very clean because when I came it was very nasty. The dishwasher is burnt literally, the garbage disposal smelled like a septic tank, the toilets have permanent rings that will not come out, and there are roaches. My car got broken into because the gate is open half the time and last but not least I have been living with a RODENT!!! YES A RODENT! management is new every time I go in there and it has only been 3 months. The leasing manager is moving me to another unit but I rather have the lease broken due to my horrible experience. I have a newborn and it seems to me that they are not as empathetic as I expect them to be due to the situation I am living in. I went to the leasing office several times about this rodent but it seems to not have gotten to management until the 3rd time. I recognized it was a rodent because under my kitchen sink there are droppings and it has chewed holes in the bag of my dog food. I have cleaned it several times to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing. I bought a new bag of dog food and it did the same thing and droppings every where. Pest control came and put a trap but he did not spray or bomb the apt. I forgot to say that they have roaches too; one ran down my arm while I was in the bed with my baby. I asked management to let me out my lease because I am very very very very uncomfortable living here with my newborn child. She would not let me break the lease without being penalized but she offered to move to another unit. I accepted because I did not want to be charged 3000 dollars for breaking a lease but I'm definitely not renewing and we can't move into the unit until another 2-3weeks. So the rodent took the poison at least 3-4 days ago and the trap still remained. Today is 8/14/16, I opened the cabinet under the kitchen sink and there goes the dead rodent! I go to the leasing office with my baby and they say that no one can get it until tomorrow. I'm very displeased that there is maintenance on ground but they will not get the dead rodent out, so therefore they expect me to sleep with a dead rodent under the kitchen sink. Overall this is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered, I am unhappy, dissatisfied, disgusted, don't feel safe, sad and paranoid living in this property. I have reached out to the general property manager so many times and left many messages but I have not heard anything from them. I even contacted corporate management and nothing there either. I feel I have to take the other unit because if I leave I am left with debt from breaking the lease but again I will not renew and I do not recommend anyone to move here. p.s if I could upload...
