I RARELY leave reviews of this nature, however this needs to be known. Came here to get a birthday bear. Severely disappointed in the customer service. Brought a young child here on his birthday to get a birthday bear and the employee , Jasmin, could not have cared any less. When we walked in, she was mid conversation and did not stop until her conversation when we approached the counter. The only reason she addressed us sooner than she would have is because a gentleman came out of the back and announced our presence âŠ4 feet away from the register where Jasmin and other coworker were standing. We were the only ones in the store. I explained it was his birthday and we wanted to know how the birthday bear special worked. When I tell you she was annoyed that we even walked in, that is an understatement. She barley interacted with the child. I have been to build a bear in several other locations and the staff is always bubbly happy interactive and helps the child be excited and feel so special. I was shocked to see âŠShe was rolling her eyes and did nothing to make his experience special on his birthday, she did not wish him a happy birthday, she essentially stuffed the bear while rolling her eyes, had him do a few things with the little heart⊠again while being annoyed and completely unbothered. Hardly any interaction, looking away and looking around ⊠nothing like I have ever experienced before. Because the child was young, he really was just focused on all the fluff floating around instead of her rolling her eyes at him. Your associate has confused our son with someone else. Maybe you should review camera store footage. We never got but only a few feet into the entrance before we were made to feel uncomfortable and left. Again, this is a mother of a special needs child who is asking for a little sensitivity for all children!!! Whoever your associate that told you that account is WRONG!!!! looking at past reviews of your store, it has a history of being rude and having attitudes issues.
Our young non verbal son with autism, walked into the store and got super excited to see the very large bear display near the front of the store. He started to jump in place and began hugging the bear and trying to hold itâs arms, we were standing right next to him making sure the bear did not move, one of your associates while stuffing another childâs bear loudly scolded him. The store associates should be sensitive to all children, he was just reacting out of excitement . She kept looking at us and made us uncomfortable, we quickly ushered our son out of the store.    Read moreI came to the mall in preparation for my daughterâs birthday, and as I walked by I remembered about the birthday bear so since my daughterâs birthday is on Tuesday, and I didnât know when I was going to be back at The mall I decided to get her birthday bear as we were there. She was so excited as we walked in looking at all the bears, and I told the associate her birthday is on Tuesday and with a nasty attitude She asked me if I had an account I told her no, but I can sign up now she told me it doesnât work like that and if I sign up now, I have to wait 24 hours before I can get a bear because my account wonât show up. The store was empty. I was the only customer there. So because I had time, I decided to make an Account as I was there, then I asked her to check the system to see if I appeared. She caught an attitude and check the system and saw that my account appeared, so I was then able to get a birthday bear, but with her nasty attitude, she took the joy and happiness completely out of the experience of getting my daughter her birthday bear.
