New place at the American Dream mall. My son and his friend love this place. It is huge and there are so many things for kids and adults to do. We are really hoping for this place to be successful. That said, they have things they need to work on to avoid confusion and to improve customer experience.
Admission is not cheap. As some reviewers have said, there have been confusion in the timing and have been asked to leave. It hasn’t happened to us but almost did yesterday. The bracelets come in different colors. They could be for up to a certain time or the whole day, etc. it’s not clear though how they assign the colors and they don’t say anything how long you’re able to stay when you pay for admission in the front. This should be done to make it clear that guests know when they need to leave by or of they are being given less time than what they paid for. Assigning the right bracelets also would ensure that people leave when they are supposed to and the place doesn’t become overcrowded and unsafe for players. We don’t want to see accidents and people getting hurt from crowding.
The ticket lines are awful. We have a membership but still needed to wait in the long line along with people buying tickets for the day and for those who are buying a new membership. There should be 3 lines and 3 dedicated staff to keep lines moving fast. Those that have membership should be able to just scan their membership QR code or cards and someone would give them their bracelet right away.
Cleanliness. The place is new so it doesn’t have the wear and tear you see in places that make them look dingy. However, shoes are for the most part allowed inside except when players actually go on the equipment. This means that players are stepping on the same ground as non-players with shoes on. Imagine someone stepping on poop outside and walking on the same concrete floors your kids walk on and then jumping on those trampolines, or playing in the...
Read moreWe recently visited Ninja Kids Park at American Dream, and while my daughters had some fun, I left very underwhelmed as a parent.
First off, the park is definitely geared only toward kids. Unlike Sky Zone or other trampoline/obstacle-style parks, there is virtually nothing for parents or adults to do. I really wish this had been disclosed upfront, because my wife and I spent $110 ($55 each) on tickets for ourselves—only to stand around with nothing to participate in. It felt like a complete waste of money, and honestly, I wish we could get refunded for our tickets.
The park leans heavily on the Ninja Kids brand, but aside from the branding, it felt overpriced and underwhelming. Even my daughters said, “I wish they had more stuff,” and I agree. For the amount we paid, there simply wasn’t enough variety to keep them engaged for long.
Another frustration was the socks. We’ve collected plenty of grip socks from trampoline parks over the years, and they all serve the exact same purpose. Having to purchase their branded socks felt unnecessary and like a money grab.
In summary:
If you’re bringing kids and don’t mind the high price, they’ll probably enjoy themselves for a bit.
As an adult, do not buy yourself a ticket—there’s truly nothing for you to do.
There are bigger, more fun, and definitely cheaper options out there.
Lesson learned for us. Hopefully this review helps other parents avoid the...
Read moreWe’ve had such a wonderful experience at Ninja Kids in American Dream! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone is extremely friendly and their customer service is outstanding. At check-in, the staff member took the time to clearly explain the difference between a day pass and a membership. Because of their thorough explanation, I ended up purchasing three memberships—and I’m so glad I did! Today was our second visit and it has already proven to be totally worth it.
The design of the park is fantastic. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the space feels exciting and fun. The slides are super fast, the obstacles are challenging yet fun, and the kids can’t get enough of the zip line.
Overall, Ninja Kids is an amazing place for kids to play, be active, and have fun. I would definitely recommend it to any family looking for a...
