illy Caffe American Dream — Restaurant in East Rutherford

We were hungry when we arrived at the American Dream Mall so we promptly made our way up the Coca Cola Eats food court on the 3rd floor in Court C of the vast Mall. After our eating our food from the King Kong Express & Popeyes stalls, I went to the Illy Cafe stall to buy my wife a large cafe latte with just one shot of coffee, a large English breakfast tea and a slice of their delicious tiramasu cake for me, which came to very reasonable total of $20. My wife had said she didn't want any desert but she ended up eating the tiramasu because it was so good and I had to go back and get another slice just for me, which cost another $9! The really friendly & helpful server laughed when I told her that the extra slice was just for me as my wife had eaten the first one all by herself🤣 We enjoyed the drinks & tiramasu so much we returned to the cafe to have the same drinks and another slice of cake just before we caught our bus back to NYC and we were served by a different but equally helpful & friendly server. Perfect Coffee Stop – Strong, Smooth, and Quick!

I stopped by Illy Café at American Dream for a quick coffee, and it did not disappoint! I ordered a black coffee, and it was absolutely perfect—strong, rich, and full of flavor without being bitter. You can really taste the quality of the beans. It had the boldness I was looking for, but it was also super smooth.

The service was fast and efficient, which I really appreciated. Even though the mall was busy, I got my coffee quickly without any hassle. It’s a great spot to grab a quality cup of coffee while shopping or taking a break. The location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere is nice and welcoming.

Terrible, horrible customer service.

I ordered an espresso with almond milk steamed hot and one pump of sugar free vanilla.

Picture below is what I got. The male that took my order kept nodding his head with every question I had, I thought perhaps he doesn’t speak English.

I didn’t order a macchiato as the receipt says. The woman that made my order, gave me shot of espresso with two spoons of milk foam.

What a waste of money, business and time. I really want my money back and an apologize. When I told them this is not what I ordered, he shrugged his shoulder like he doesn’t care and the lady kept asking the dude for answer.

Here is an answer: actually make what ur customer ordered and learn how to speak English and learn customer service...
