Extremely dissapointed with Macys and will neve rbuy furniture from them again. If I could rate Macys a 0 I would. I have been getting the run around about by new bedroom set since purchasing it in january of 2021. Half the items were delivered in March and was told that my bed was not yet available. I called the 1800 number to get status of my bed several times. I kept getting the run around and was finally told I would received update by April 26. Never got the call. I finally grrew tired and cancelled by order. Within 30 mintutes I received a call stating that my bed was in fact available for delivery. * My bed magically appeared*. The rep apologized for the lack of communication on their part and that my order was still in tact. I accepted their apology and bed was scheduled to be delivered this Saturday. The rep verbally told me not to worry that my order was not cancelled and I would receive my order. I also received emal confirmation of the bed delivery. I received an email today stating that the entire order was in fact cancelled and that i would need to re-buy the bed again. The bed now costs more and it would possibly be delivered between June and July. I will now be returning all previously delivered items and order from another company. I understand that items take long to be made and delivered. Their lack of communication, organization and misinformation is appaling. One rep does not know what other is doing and input all wrong information in system while verbally advising me that my order was...
Read moreI went with my husband to check out the Purple bed since this Macy's was one of the only stores in our area that carried it in store. We purchased the bed only knowing that we had 120 days to try it out and, if we didn't like it, we could return it. So we personally hate the bed. I haven't been sleeping well and my back hurts in the morning. When we called about returning it, they tell us for the FIRST TIME that there will be a 15% preference fee (of the cost of the bed we hate) on top of the $85 pick up charge. A pick up charge? I would have figured that. But the 15% charge is ridiculous. I know it's a Macy's policy and blah, blah, blah, but the fact that they didn't tell us up front is what really bothered me. When I confronted them about that they simply said, "It's on your receipt." Yeah, it's on the receipt so you can still find out about it after you've already made the purchase. I would definitely not have bought a bed from Macy's knowing about this upfront. So not only do I have to go through a headache of purchasing another bed, I'll be losing about $300. I'll never buy furniture or a bed from Macy's ever again. And you better believe I've been telling everyone about this :-D

Read moreMy wife and I purchase a sofa from the Lee the salesman. Lee was great no issues with him whatsoever. We had to wait a maximum of 8 weeks because the color we wanted was not in stock which we were fine with. The sofa came in late but still we didn't really care. The issue and reason for one star is we had delivery scheduled on Thursday long story short we received one piece of the sofa while the rest of it was put on the wrong truck. Rescheduled for Friday and had a friend stay at the house to wait for the delivery since we were both working. Called to say they were on the way in fifteen minutes. Three hours later and after waiting for approximately 40 minutes to speak with customer service we found out the sofa was again on the wrong truck and in PA. When trying to "Reschedule" again the system crashed. At this point I hung up and spoke with the manager at the store who told me she was going to confer with another manager and call me Saturday. Of course I dint hear from anyone and had to call myself and I was just told they do not deliver on Mondays and wont be in the area until Wednesday so I would have to take off again for them.
