The Wishing Stone — Local services in Edmonds

I was in a jam and landed in this store. I went to two gems stores in N. Seattle and both of them were closed - I wasn't happy to drive to Edmonds but I did what needed to be done. I was leaving for a business trip and wanted to give a few gifts to a group of women I was meeting.

It was a lovely day in September so everyone and their mother, auntie and dog were out. Parking sucks in this area but I managed to find a spot within waking distance.

I knew what I wanted because I looked online and called a head to ensure they were open. I was searching for rose quartz hearts with little baggies to purchase since these were gifts.

I found this store clean and laid out decently. I did see reviews of not receiving assistance - I was greeted and asked if I wanted help and I took it. Now, granted I'm a Black woman, the store was empty and in this instance I'm choosing not to jump to conclusions. It is Edmonds or Washington state for that matter.

I was able to find what I wanted at a decent price and got out within 20-minutes.

Excellent little store locaded in edmonds. tHe limited capacity at the moment is 12 patrons at a time, so your wait time may be a bit long, but the wait is certainly worth it. A well stocked selection of rocks, fossils, and more awaits you within, with helpful descriptions of the stone's properties nearby. From polished to carved into creatures skulls pendants etc, and everything inbetween, this store is likely to excite most rock and mineral enthusiasts and spiritualists alike. tHe staff was friendly and helpful, the organization was clear, and they provide a helpful basket to house your rock friends as you navigate the store. hIghly reccomend. please note the prices are very fair, but also are what...

I am a HUGE fan of The Wishing Stone! Beautiful silver jewelry! Each piece is hand-selected by gemologist, Janet Yoshikawa, the owner. Janet and her staff are super friendly, professional and very helpful by assisting you with finding that special gift for your friends and loved ones. Rocks, gems, fossils and crystals... books about rocks, gems, fossils and crystals too. Just look for the GIANT dinosaur in the front window of her Edmonds store!
