I have lived in Edmonds since 1972. I was 7 years old. I have bought some great items at the "Wooden Spoon" over the years and I will say I have found things in this store that are unique to any other store I have been in and that is what has drawn me back. The owner is very kind and helpful, so kind that I had no idea she was the owner until after she helped me, she was like a customer in a way she was very easy for me to talk to. She was not hidden somewhere in the back like a lot of owners can do. She was talking to her employee like they were friends. This store is absolutely one of a kind with the items they carry to how they have decorated it. It's very charming, comfortable, not to big and I love that because it's more personable and the items are not rows away from the things I needed and more than a few items I didn't know I needed until I saw them. Everything I have bought there is still in working order that's huge to me. I have some items that are 15 years old and in great shape. I take care of my things, but when you use something daily, it won't last as long with most things. The quality is awesome, and you wouldn't know it until you've owned it for 15 years or 25 years, then you know. Because of the quality of what I have purchased over the many years, I can say that this store is quality. Please press the thumbs up it helps the business...

But the store no longer carries the same one, we were disappointed, but not surprised. An employee or the store owner over heard us and suggested we bring the spatula in next time and told us they would do their best to find it and order it for us. Very impressive...
Read moreThe Wooden Spoon has been our go to kitchen store for over 30 years. Jenny always has what we need. Just yesterday I was baking bread and my scale died on me. My wife called Jenny and she knew exactly what we needed and I had it on my counter 15 minutes later!
Thanks again, Jenny...
