I had a bad experience with the Galloway NJ UPS Store. I went and sent a package in June 2023. I received a phone 2 weeks ago in November, telling me that there was a package that was sitting on a shelf and never delivered. I assumed it was stolen. I was told that I must report this issue within 30 days of sending. How can I do that if the package is sitting at their store. I contacted the store to get a refund of the contents of my package. I was told that they can only refund, my shipping cost. The manager was rude and I got their corporate phone number to complain about the experience. About a week afterwards , I received a phone call from Zach at the Egg Harbor Township store. He said that it never should’ve happened, and he was friendly, professional, and concerned with my needs. He immediately cut me a check for the contents and shipping fees. I am happy that there are still people out there, who are nice and Take the time to help others. He was accommodating in sifting through the document I sent in order to print the correct pages, which I really appreciated! Then he was careful to delete the document right away which had sensitive information on it. Thank you, Zack!
While I was sending the email, I got to witness his charm in handling a sticky situation with a customer who had missing labels due to a third party’s mistake. The customer could have left angry, but instead he left smiling. I bet the customer will ensure the other party gives him the correct labels next time because Zack had made a cartoon for these unfortunately common situations with this particular third party. It was such a nice lighthearted way to explain the policy and why it needed to be followed. Ha ha it made my day. Many people working in customer service become exasperated when there’s a recurring issue such as that, so I was impressed with how he handled it.

Read moreI'm from MD and vacation in Ocean View NJ. I returned home from a 3 hour trip to have a "Home alone" (movie) moment as I realized I had left my work computer behind. Not only did Ocean view campground resort do a fantastic job helping me get it shipped home but Shawn Lepree is a superstar employee who helped me with a few problems I had during this process. I was very upset to take off work on Monday expecting my computer and found out it was still in NJ. Long story short he explained in detail how that happened, made sure I got the computer the next day and then WOWED me with a credit that I did not even expect or ask for. I absolutely love employees that go out of their way to satisfy a customer beyond their expectations.
