Ok, this is updated as of 8/8/2022 Unfortunately I need to downgrade my rating of this restaurant which has been one of my favorites in El Paso. I normally do this professionally and get paid to do so. This time I am doing it for free because I seriously would like management to pay attention and fix the problems. 1- Quality of food: the selection is still there, no crab legs, good variety. HOWEVER I noticed the seafood table had been visited less than usual. I checked it and found out the seafood looked old and dry. I tried the shrimp (unpeeled) and found they were bad. They felt slimy to the touch, even after peeling, and tasted horrible...I had to test them, but I had to spit it out... that was salmonella city... Then I tried the mussels. They were dry but had not gone bad. The sushi bar was ok. 2 - Cleanness . The section were I sat was very well kept by my waitress. HOWEVER the men's restrooms were filthy (literaly), the stall walls were covered in graffiti, the floors were dirty, urinal stunk, paper bins overflowing with trash, and the place was so dark it looked like a cave. Management definitely needs to invest in better lighting. 3 - Service . The waitress, a young slim hispanic female, 5'8", long black hair in a pony tail, approximately 20 years old, was excellent. She kept her area clean at all times, and checked her customers were doing well very often. To management: please fix this issues, this was the best Asian food buffet in El Paso, and now is dropping in food quality and...
Read moreWell where to start... 2 adult with water is about $35. As most people say the foods cold or stale but the hibachi grill would be the way to go. Of you have children or there happens to be a mess you get an entire staff talking shit in a different language. They seem to forget Google translate exist. There were some choice words that any worker would be written up for or fired extremely unprofessional. I recommend if you bring kids with you to toss a translator on the table and see what happens. On that note the bathrooms were not in good shape and it's not even safe let alone sanitary blood on the floor? Pee on the walls? Just tossed bleach on it and some perfumes? OSHA would have a field day. To top off the whole experience as I set my plate down I noticed a nice little visitor on my table, a German cockroach 🪳 now those who have done some research know they are extremely bothersome pest and they spread like wildfire. So I would suggest checking out you're cloths and start stomping you're shoes out hard while walking out because all it takes is one egg to start an infestation. All that said this use to be my favorite buffet and to see it has fallen so far is just sad. I suggest the staffing get training in customer service and learn to separate their feelings from the duties of the job. That being said I will be posting a picture of the bathroom to remind them and others that restaurant cleanliness is a priority. If they won't clean the restrooms what else are...
Read moreSo my wife and I live in Las Cruces, and the buffet there on our last visit was very lacking.
This place was very packed. Very systematic, and the food was really good. They had a ton of variety and on top of that they had sushi and a Mongolian grill for custom entires.
overall, the experience was great it’s very rare that you go to a Chinese buffet load up your plate with food and finish everything on the first go. Usually you’re left tasting food. Some of it is good some of its OK and you’ll leave it on your plate to grab something else instead
My wife and I both finished our first serving and it’s entirety. the waiters are very my wife and I both finished our first serving and it’s entirety. the waiters are very observant they swoop in and pick up plates and give refills without asking
this buffet was a little different, and that it seems to have a Hispanic feel. (I'm hispanic and when I was greeted by the host it was in Spanish) think that is the best attribute because it was very very systematic.
What I mean by systematic, it is a very organized never slowing down customer first experience.
Food never empty, everything looked fresh and no worker was left standing still. Every worker was doing something to add to give a great experience.
I didn’t take any pictures simply because Chinese food is Chinese food. Everyone knows what could be possibly served at a buffet just think of that and more when you come...
