My review is not in reference to the quality of nail services but the poor quality of customer service. I was checked in and sat down upon arrival, directly following me was a party of five ladies. They were seated and prepped for the same service I had requested prior to me. Keep in mind they are a āno appointment facilityā. To negate the situation after speaking to the manager, I proceeded to sit and again another lady who came in after me was seated and prepped for the same service I was waiting for. The receptionist deliberately made me wait as the final client of the evening because I called her out on her poor performance as a receptionist when I told her it was unfair to place a party of 5 ahead of 1 person who was waiting first. Iāve had great results with the nail technicians but honestly I wonāt be as quick to refer my clients here any longer. I spoke to the owner and expressed my concern and he observed her seating the other lady (who came after me) and didnāt say a thing to correct her direction. I still gave them 10 more minutes while I waited to redirect my frustration. They didnāt bother to do or say nothing to help ease the situation. My suggestion? Walk in, sign in, and wait for the opportunity to jump in a chair with a technician because the receptionist doesnāt have a clue how to direct and manage the overflow of clients that they have. Not to mention they have about 5 techs working at a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOh my⦠So I made an appt. the day before, got there and the receptionist looked for my appt. for 5 minutes until I asked if they do by appt. only, she then said no we do walk ins to. Then what was the point in waisting the time to look for the appt. I did book the day before⦠? Next I was just standing there while the receptionist and another girl went back and forth as to who was going to take care of me and at this point I just didnāt even feel welcome. Once I was finally sat the woman who did my pedicure was fairly rude and argumentative. She told me there was acrylic on my toes and Iāve been getting my nails done for quite awhile, I know what acrylic looks like when itās going on and did not see the last salon I went to put any acrylic on my toes⦠after I told her that she just wanted to go back and forth with me about it⦠Iāve never experienced that before and hear stories of it all the time and well now I guess I can add to those stories. She was also poking at my nails a lot and kept talking about all the āthingsā, I have to justify why she needed to poke and hurt me. Lastly, the manicure is/was subpar to say the least and I was charged for very unusual things like ā custom nail shapeā, which makes no sense to me because you asked me what shape Iād like and I told you⦠all in all they need MAJOR work on their customer service skills. Would not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the second poor experience I had and I'm kicking myself for trying again. I've been getting acrylic for about fifteen years. First I went a month ago and a young woman did my nails. She used way to much primer and my fingers got acid burned. It hurt so much I had to get up and wash my hands but it didn't go away. I tried to explain to her but she said that's normal. I said I've been doing this 15 years it's not normal.
Then I went back to have the nails taken off before getting a new set. Every few months I do this to let my nails breathe. This time this person used the electric nail file with the metal head with spikes. I've never had anyone take my acrylic off that way (while soaking them). They always use a paper towel and then the soft rubber head. I kept telling her that my nails are soft from 15 years of acrylic and she wouldn't change it. She drilled several times to the point it burned and I would pull my hand away and tell her it hurt and she kept acting offended and laughing and then making comments to the woman next to her. Once she finished my nails hurt and they were all cracked through.
I've never had this before and will likely go to urgent care bc they've been getting worse since then. Do not let them take your nails off!
These photos were taken immediately when I got home from...
