We had a great experience with our first purchase here. Unfortunately, a portion of the order was delayed by the manufacture. This is not nests fault. Our disappointment comes from Nest not keeping us up to date with the status. We had to constantly call and they reassured us that they would call us back to give us an update. Sometime in December, they called and told us that the person we talked to (whom provided us information) had no idea what he was talking about, but that this new person would keep us up to date. We played this game for about 3 weeks, then finally they told us (after we called again) that the manufacturer had the piece ready. They said that with the holiday, their driver may be delayed from picking it up but it would be her the first week of January. The first week came and we heard nothing from Nest, so I called to check the status. They told me that the manager is scheduling a truck and they would let me know within 2 days when the truck would be scheduled, but that it would be within the next week. I waited til the following week, and they told me that the manager decided to not send the truck that week but that it would go the following week and that as soon as the truck picks up the furniture, it would be delivered the next day. Finally, we got a call from them saying the furniture was here! Except they couldn’t deliver it since it was being unloaded. They scheduled the delivery for 3 days later, and gave me a 4 hour window. On delivery day, the driver called and told me they would arrive within 30-45 minutes. I waited and they didn’t show up. I had an appointment, so I had to leave. However, I left a note asking them to leave the furniture on my porch. The driver called me a little after an hour from his call and he told me he could not leave the furniture. He said I would have to call my sales person to reschedule.
After all of the waiting, non existent communication, excuses (and even an argument from the sales rep saying it was the manufacturers fault) and being disappointed many times, we finally cancelled the order. It’s too bad, because their furniture is nice. We will never go here again and will not recommend this to anyone. Then on the 20th they decided to tell me it hadn’t gotten even picked up yet and didn’t have a date when they would pick it up. Finally they told me it would be picked up on April 29th to be delivered on May 3rd. May 3rd comes and they finally call me to tell me they were delivering and when they got here, the delivery company was given the wrong color as they brought a white wash. When I went back the staff had changed and It felt more like a car dealership than a furniture store. However, after having an issue with my couch Candace has gone above and beyond to help get it situated with the manufacturer. And no she’s not the one that made it feel like a dealership.
