Five Below — Local services in Elk River

Would give zero stars if i could. Bigoted, racist cashier. Went in between 2:05/2:20 today with my brother to get something to drink before going to the gym. Before we even finished looking the guy watching the self check out kept asking if we were done looking. We got our waters and of the four self check registers there was only one being used. Which the lady was already finished by the time we walked over. So there was 4 self checkouts open. The cashier then insisted that we go over to the register he was standing at and insisted that he scan our items for us. My brother then said "we can't scan our own stuff..?" The worker then said "oh that one's not on" This was the same machine the lady had just used mind you. He then scanned our stuff, told us we could pay, and left to go stand behind his desk. Don't go here if you are a poc. You'll be automatically looked at as if you are suspicious...

Very frustrating that half the stuff doesn't show prices. I asked about a magnet - $4. I also had to ask about 2 other items. It's not helpful when the sign says "$5 and below". My granddaughter picked her item off the shelf that was clearly marked $5. It rang up at $7 and the cashier said "oh, we're moving things around, it was in the wrong place on the shelf". Of course I'm still going to buy it for her, but that doesn't make me...

The store looked absolutely great, had a variety of products (Pet care, toiletries, decor, fun outdoor items) that not all locations have or have a good selection of. All of the workers were super kind. Glad to have this in Elk River. I think...
