On Deck Sportscards — Local services in Enid

Horrible experience with this company. My grandson left a couple thousand dollars worth of Pokémon cards to be sent out for grading. He sent the first set of 20 out to be graded and I became ill. I was unable to pick them up.and pay for the grading. I get it those were my responsibility. However, he ensured me that the other sixty or so cards would be placed in the safe, kept safely in the safe until I picked up the graded cards and paid for the grading. I was unable to so, Ilie happens. One graded card was worth about $400.00 what I owed for the grading. Cool, I understand the cost of getting them graded. Keep the ones we sent out and give me the ones that are rightfully my 12 yr old grandsons. The cards that Jeff was suppose to keep safe until we were able to send them out for grading. All of those cards that he put in his safe we owe no money and were 1st edition Japanese Pokémon cards and Supposedly Are no were to be found. If they are willing to rip off 12 yr olds they are low life criminals. And given an opportunity will rip you off as well while doing it with a smile. They are crooks and I’d give the a negative star if I could. And I do plan on writing about this to the better business. Given the opportunity they will steal from you. My God they are just kids they are taking advantage of. Just kids. Oh and I was never given a time frame of when I need to pick tte graded cards up. I have all the texts between Jeff and my grandson to prove he was never notified from on deck tgat they received the 20 graded cards back from PSA. Stopped in today for the first time in over 10 years and I couldn’t be more impressed with their hospitality and knowledge! They were prepping orders to ship when I walked in, right before closing I should add, and not once did they act bothered by the last second stop, as you would expect most people’s reaction to be. On top of that, I was immediately prioritized which was a relief because I did not expect them to have the amount of inventory that they did! I was not only offered more help than I would have ever asked for, but I learned bunch in my short amount of time there. I mean they shared more information and knowledge with me than I could retain! These guys know their stuff when it comes to sports and anything sports related. They weren’t pushy with any sales, they were up front and honest as far as which boxes gave me my best shot at landing the items I’m after, and that they obviously weren’t guaranteed to hit, which can be upsetting to some people, but i think the uncertainty adds to the fun of the hobby! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! I highly recommend stopping in and at least taking a look around to any hobbyist, collector, or just anyone who loves sports in general! I want to express a special thank you to Roger and the staff at on deck sports. I have been doing business with Roger for several years now. I had purchased some memorabilia and placed it on lay away when they had their location at quail springs mall in okc. I came down with Covid and then turned around and was hospitalized with internal bleeding. Anyways with hospital and medical bills back logged and everyday life. Roger worked with me and I was finally able to pick up the lay away this weekend.Roger was a man of his word and I will always continue to support their business.
