I took my daughter to get the Day of the Dead Bread. She was soooo excited!! Lots to see, touch & smell at Northgate.
We went to the Meat Department and the meat associate, Rodolpho, was very kind and patient with us. He answered all of our questions professionally. We also got some tamales and they were very DELICIOUS 😋!!! Then we got some potato wedges, but they did not taste good at all. They were either fried in old oil or fried in oil that other things were fried in. We won't get them again! Other than that hiccup, we had a GREAT time!!! I saw a lot of smiles between customers and staff. That's beautiful to see!!! The atmosphere was very light & friendly!
We spent an hour there, and it only felt like 5 min.. Quality time spent with my daughter.

They have authentic, fresh, delicious Mexican products. It's always crowded completely. Hard to walk around in this store. There's a cheap shoe store that looks tacky. The Dollar Tree has a wide variety of products. It's somewhat organized. The employees are nice. Same for AutoZone. Smart, friendly employees with basically e/thing you need. The Mexican candy store isn't great or authentic. Wide variety but the prices aren't really that great. The area is impoverished with a lot of homeless people, they're not violent or are harassing people. There are gas stations and auto shops across the street. A few mexican...

Those little 3-in corn tortillas are the perfect size. I was there early enough that they weren't even any in a package, they took them off the grill for me, still pretty hot...
