Favorite Things — Local services in Estes Park

We were in Estes Park three weeks ago, and we were browsing around town. I had become fairly disheartened with the merchandise in many shops, as they seem very comfortable displaying and selling profanity and vulgarity. I am so sick that our society accepts that sort of thing as normal. When my husband and I entered "My Favorite Things", I was immediately aware that I could breathe easily and see beautiful things that were all based in decency and family-friendly values. Beautiful store with tons of very cute things to buy and see that really make you happy. Unfortunately, the person there made a comment about our accent that made us feel uncomfortable and not welcome, so we just paid her what we had found and left, although we wanted to stay longer. For this lady: when customers tell you they live in Denver and they have been at your store before, and are coming back to shop again, you don’t question if they truly live in Denver because you hear a different accent. This shop has wonderful gift items for any occasion as well as quality souvenirs of your visit to Estes Park.
