Dave's Market & Eatery Shore Center — Local services in Euclid

My daughter went shopping to purchase wings for my grandson's 1st birthday party that I was preparing for our guest. They were the Daves brand wings in a bag frozen. Upon taking them out to unthaw them in my opinion the wings looked rather pale. At first I'm thinking because they were frozen that perhaps that may be the reason for the color to be lookng that way. Deep down I knew that wasn't the reason, but I was praying it was. Once the chicken had been completely unthawed my worst nightmare was confirmed. The chicken was awful I had to clean the chicken so I only opened up one bag which my daughter purchased two of them. The water was cloudy and the chicken wings we're practically mutilated the meat was not connected to the bones they were dark on the tips of the wings it made me want to regurgitate. It was a big mess. I had her take both packs back to the store and get a refund. They should really be ashamed of themselves selling people food that could cause some one to get sick. I'm very particular about the food I eat and what I serve my guests. Be very aware when purchasing that particular brand. She decided to go to Giant Eagles and they had the best brand George's wings they were fresh and much better. I usually shop at the Wilson Mills Daves but she decided to go elsewhere. I Just thought I should leave a review to let others know to check their Daves brand more carefully before purchasing and don't waste your time buying them if it's another brand thats available you will be happy you chose otherwise . I wish I knew how to post the pictures I took of these disgusting wings then you would see...

The hot food WAS what my husband and I really went there for. And all their hot food is/was delicious, and you just couldn't wrong, BUT.. just recently they did raise their prices for the hot food, so we don't purchase it like we use to, Higher Prices For The Same Amount Of Food????? There WAS always a line for the hot food, BUT... NOT NOW!! We have shopped there for groceries, periodically, for just a few things. The prices ARE higher than most of the other grocery stores we've shopped at, but they have good choices, and products. (My pet peeve is the self check-out, that becomes irritating, because the automated voice from the machine tells you to place your item in the bag, remove the item from the bag, to remove the item from the checkout area, and it talks too much, plus there's not much room to maneuver your groceries, etc.) You have to check it out yourself, and decide. Just take LOTS OF MONEY!! AND PACK YOUR...

This Dave's is disgusting. The produce costs more than most grocery stores in the area is the worst quality. I bought a pumpkin for Halloween 3 days after purchasing it rotted and left a stain on my new kitchen floors. Couldn't even use it for the holiday. 2a week later I went and got a bag of blackeyed peas and as soon as I got them home I started noticing little bugs crawling around my kitchen. My newly remodeled kitchen. The next day the bugs started getting worse. I look in my cabinet and they are all over the place. I inspected my food and bam bag of beans are infested with these bugs and they had been eating through them for some time. I called the store and was put on hold. Tried calling again 10 times no answer. My next call is to the health department. Walmart has better groceries and cheaper prices. I've loved Dave's on carol for years. This Dave's is...
