I made an appointment to have my hair braided. I brought along a picture as I always do so that the stylist can see exactly what I wanted. After I asked the stylist if she could add more braids in the back of my head instead of the two that were on the picture. That's when the stylist Tosha informed me that her hands were hurting. Had she informed me of this when she texted me that she was running behind, I would have asked her did she want to reschedule for another day or can she recommend another stylist. The style didn't last two days the hair was unraveling from the braiding hair. I text her to see if she could help me out by rebraiding the hair and I texted her phone she didn't reply. I called the shop and asked to speak to the owner or who ever was in charge. A lady identified herself as the owner and I explained the situation to her. I was told that I would receive a call back, I haven't received a call. I would have even paid for any extra work I just wanted my hair to look nice. We as the client pay good money to have our hair look nice, if the stylist can't do the style correctly it's only right to inform us and we can take our business elsewhere. My son is growing hair for the first time & I decided on a professional to give my son braids or twists. The owner reccomended her auntie. She said she just left but she agreed to come braid his hair for an extra fee of 25$ on top of the 50$ to put six or seven braids in his hair. I told her 50 was steep enough so that was my limit. She agreed to braid it. The hair appeared nice & neat but as soon as we left my son was crying, and complaining of a headache. The stylist had braided it way too tight. I tried everything to provide comfort to him & it resulted in me taking it down. I called the owner the next day. I told her our experience & proceeded in suggesting half my money back or a free or very discounted next service. She assured me her auntie will call me back & its March 12 2021 today & we last spoke December 31 2020. All I intended on doing is support a black business and make my son happy. The next time ill pay a family member 20$ and it will look & feel 80x better. They did not care about my son...
