Not only are the owners on a first name basis with so many of the clientele but the ladies of Folkways are just as unique and know you by name to. The service provided by the Folkway ladies is 5 Star and they are friendly, very helpful and they delight in helping you put together just the right ensemble, a scarf, handbag or a gift for someone else and they always, always make it a fun experience for you. Their gift warp is a dead give -a-way when receiving a gift that comes from this store and each gift is boxed and wrapped so you don't have to do it. Besides the ladies do a much better job of wrapping than I ever could. The staff are very kind. The products are inconsistent quality with some made with excellent fibers and others of polyester. The biggest problem is the owner allows NO RETURNS for any reason. Because of this I’ll never shop there again. I bought a really cute shirt after looking at numerous items if high quality fibers. Folkways was the coolest and warmest shopping trip of a very long double cross country adventure.
