I was desperate for a new job and applying to every temp agency within a 10 mile radius.

During the video interview, Melissa Angst spoke to me with a high-pitched and condescending voice when I was just answering some questions about my work history and preferences. I'm a young professional with a few specialized skills that I'm looking to use in entry-level jobs. I told her I was looking for part time OR full time work, and she kept grilling me about "why part-time?". Why part time? Because I was trying to keep my options open when looking for work in a new city, I've got bills to pay...that's why! The rest of the interview went like this with questions that were really irrelevant to what I want to do and what I can do.

I did get one job interview, but the job didn't even match with my experience and she kept sending my resume out for similar roles when I specifically requested help for entry-level. She became totally unresponsive after my last failed interview, so I decided not to use her services any further. One week later I have found a decent job without help.

It's probably not the agency's fault since it seems other people have had positive experiences with other staff mentioned in the reviews. I must've caught her during a bad time or she's just...

I scheduled an interview with them, and when I went in, I asked for a job at least 17 per hour. That seems to be average for entry level in the area. They scoffed at me and told me to be serious. Then the interviewer asked if I had even graduated high school. She didn't ask normally the way most people ask that question she asked it like she didn't believe I had ever graduated. I told her I was looking for a warehouse or production job, and she offered me a low paying food service job instead, even though I never said anything about wanting that kind of job. She said she wouldn't give me a industry job because I didn't have enough experience, despite all my recent experience being in industry and not food service. When I asked if she had a part time job available as a second job, she acted like I would have trouble even keeping one job, and I didn't know what it's like to work 60 hrs a week.
