FYE (For Your Entertainment) — Local services in Eugene

Firstly, we will NEVER shop this location again, and if I could give it a ZERO STAR RATING, I would. It's not worth it for extremely overpriced goods and excessively poor customer service.

We stopped by to buy a couple of shirts that I liked. When we got to the register is when things started to go sideways. The employee that was helping us check out couldn't figure out the transaction we wanted to make until I explained it 5 times.

One shirt didn't have a tag, so we brought an extra up to be scanned and but we didn't want it as well. That was all nothing difficult. She thought we were returning the one with no tag.... then she wanted to scan it twice. No, they are different prices... Finally, I got that squared away. Then they want all your info, fine whatever.

Then, the "manager" Faith started in on a group of young boys about being "obnoxious" when one was shocked a discount soda was $9.99. He asked if the manager was in, and she said she was the manager. She then told him, "Leaving the store was free," and to never come back.

The kids were not being "obnoxious just asking questions. That was when we decided we weren't going to shop there. She accused the kids of chasing customers off and got bent out of shape when we told her that she was the reason we were leaving and told us never to come back as well.

If you can't handle customers without being rude and condescending, maybe retail isn't for you.

If the owner sees this, I hope you can get better management/employees. We will never shop your establishment again and never recommend it either. I'm sure others will follow suit if...

My husband and I took our daughter and her friend to Round 1 and then decided to go into the mall. We went into FYE and thought it was such a cool little store, my daughter found a few books that she wanted so I held onto them while we continued to shop. For context, I’m a black woman and my husband is white, my daughter and I were the only black people in the store. One of the guys working there asked me if I needed help finding anything, I told him no and thanked him…not even 30 seconds later my husband overheard him and the other guy talking about us, asked if we were stealing, debating whose check would cover the loss and then said they’d watch us. This store was packed and we were the ones they felt needed to be watched but we had done nothing but look around the store as many others did. I put the books back and we took our business elsewhere, we will never go back to this place. Sad that these men felt it was ok to make assumptions and talk about people this way with them standing right next to them, especially when we did nothing...

When I was walking into the FYE store with my sister at around 12:30 2/23/25 these two staff members in the counter we laughing about a customer. It was disgusting that their behavior about how they described the customer to be disabled and the fact that they made fun of how they didn't want the gentleman's saliva on the merchandise. one worker had green hair with glasses and the other was a brunette. their laugh and gossip were so loud . I can't believe how unafraid they were to say something so horrible about a customer to bunch of other costumers. I will never go back their again if this is the type of people...
