I’m not one to normally vent publicly, however my experience today was wrong. I went to take in a shirt my daughter purchased, because the person that checked her out, forgot to remove the security sensor. I had thrown away her receipt, because she loved everything she bought, not realizing a sensor was left on the shirt. Instead of an apology for the inconvenience of me having to come back due to their mistake, the employees told me they couldn’t remove the sensor without a receipt. Basically treating me like they thought my daughter must have stolen the t-shirt. After giving a couple phone numbers to look it up, they finally said they would take it off and told me that we need to keep our receipts in the future. Maybe Hollister should tell their employees to remove all the sensors at check out. And learn some customer service. Treating customers like they’ve done something wrong, when it’s your employees that made a mistake is...

I ordered two pairs of jeans online but they were the wrong size. So I decided to go into the store to see if they had them in stock there. Unfortunately they didn't, but the employee who helped me, named Em, was so incredibly helpful! The caliber of customer service she gave made me feel like was in a very high-end store with a personal shopper! She asked if I wanted her to do the exchange online for me, or find something in the store. I was tempted to try to find something in store for instant gratification, and she asked me all the questions needed to find what I was looking for. She hit it spot on, but I decided to still stick with the originals and she seamlessly reordered them for me and even asked about the length because I had previously been thinking I might like the short length instead.
