I am writing this review to say how happy I am with Video Only in Eugene, Oregon. Video Only is located at 2823 Chad Drive, across from COSTCO. The reason I buy my TVs from Video Only and not the other place is 2 fold. First reason is the manager of the store David Stuve and the second reason is price and selection. I just want to say that David is one of the best sales consultants I have ever run across. I was in sales for my entire career so I know a little bit about this. David has taken care of me and my family members 3 times now and each experience has been excellent. David has the knowledge and skill to guide you on your flat screen TV buying adventure. His consultation is personal, timely, and well executed. I just called David the other day as a mishap had damaged the first TV I purchased from him and a replacement was necessary. After refamiliarizing himself with my situation he explained to me what he would do if he were in my shoes and what he said made complete and total sense to me so I was able to replace my TV without even going into the store. The nice thing is he guided me to a better TV than I have now, It is lower in price, and he had it in stock. It is being delivered today in fact. Fantastic customer service and great deals.

Decided it was time to get a new TV but had no idea where to start. I’m not a huge technology person and don’t know what to look for. I went to Video Only-Eugene and was helped by Garrett. He was friendly and answered every question I had, explained the differences between different technologies and showed me examples of how each technology performed. He never acted like a typical “sales person” and never pressured me to buy anything.

I went back with my wife a few days later so we could look together. Garrett was not working and we were helped by David. He was also very friendly. We picked up right where I left off with Garrett. He answered additional questions that came up with detailed answers and showed us other models we were interested in. David was also never pushy and never made us feel like we had to make a decision now. He gave us plenty of space to talk in private and decide which direction we wanted to go.

Once we decided, checkout was fast and easy. David brought the TV to my truck and helped me load it.

Of all the places I looked, Video Only by far had the best selection of quality TV’s, the best prices and the best customer service.

10/10 would recommend going there when you are looking...

I called Video Only since I had been shopping around and having difficulty finding the right blu ray player. Markus was very helpful on the phone and in person. He pointed me quickly to the brands and types of blu ray players that matched what I was looking for.

My preference is for Samsung brand with built in wifi and the capacity for playing blu ray discs and upscaling DVD's to 1080p. What I didn't know was that most blu ray players can upscale dvds regardless of how the cover on the box may advertise since the upscaling technology is dependent not so much on the device but on the hdmi port. Markus saved me time by giving me this information and even reminded me to purchase an hdmi cable in case I didn't already have one (but I did.)

It was a relief to speak with someone who was both professional and knowledgeable about the product. I'm quite picky and it tends to take me awhile to make a selection since I tend to do a lot of research before making a final decision. My TV I bought from Video Only several years ago is still going solid. I recommend tech buyers who like the element of classy customer service to check this place out. Thank you again for going...
