The Human Bean — Restaurant in Eugene

Went to grab a coffee for myself while waiting for a family member at the hospital in surgery as hospital coffee is gross. Some guy in a Green Bay Packers mask working the window had the mask barely covering his mouth and not his nose at all and dude literally coughed iver my coffee as he handed it to me. Even before the pandemic you don't cough on customers stuff. Gross. I am sure I could have asked for a new one but between half of them not wearing masks, that dude coughing and one girl you could hear sneezing in the back while being packed in a germ box together I just took it as a $5 loss and tossed it. Covid or no...don't germ up my order please. Especially right in front of me haha. Instantly regretted I already out cash in...

Wow, what a great discovery to find this place. The service was excellent and organized. Even though the drive thru had quite a few cars, the wait wasn't very long. The coffee was full bodied and rich with flavor, just the way I like it. What I noticed immediately was the clean taste. I didn't get that muddy feeling that is left on your tongue a lot of the time. Hope that makes sense! I don't like having coffee breath and feeling like I have to scrub my tongue afterwards. LOL This place is so good that I will drive out of my way to go there if I have to. They have cold brew coffee that will definately motivate the tired and the lazy! Don't know how they do it but I only drink half of my cold brew coffee and eat awake and active for the entire day! Of course that was after delivering all night on grave shift schedule! Or maybe it was that special bean that did it? Either way, my only complaint was that it was so good I drink it too fast which led to lack of sleep which isn't really a complaint, supposed it could very well be a compliment as well!
