My daughter and I were here on a Monday for early lunch. We arrived around 1145 and were seated. Our waitress was very nice and took our order. There were only 2 other tables at that time, one with 3 people and one with 1 person. I ordered what is shown in photos. My daughter ordered a California roll and some noodles. I also ordered a beer. The salad and soup came for me fairly quickly. Then the main dishes came out, except I was missing my tempura and my beer. The temperua arrived when I was over half done with meal. Our sushi was not made in a way where the fish stayed on the rice and so would all fall apart when attempting to eat with chopsticks. Waitress never had returned to see if we had any needs or if our food was okay so I was forced to eat the sushi with my fingers. My daughter didn't even touch her noodles and so she sat there with a full plate of food and not once did anyone ask if everything was okay. She was just full from the roll, but the fact she wasn't considered or checked on was upsetting. My beer never came until my daughter mentioned it at the end of the meal. We asked for boxes and waited forever. When another waitress brought our bill we asked again for our to-go needs to be met, and she literally looked at us and walked away. Our waitress came again, and we had been ready to go for over 15 minutes. We again asked for our to-go needs to be met. She said she would be back and then numerous minutes later came out and started bussing a table. We left with our needs unmet and our waitress got ZERO tip on a $50 bill. We felt completely ignored. We witnessed others feeling disgruntled by their treatment of their needs as well. The food tasted good and was pretty. However it was the most poorly made sushi I've ever had. Because of the service this restaurant is not recommended. Plenty of other quality sushi in Eigene.

Hmmm. Well, it depends on where you sit to dine here. Sushi options are incredible, with some limitations. Their tempura is great unless you get the veggies...a bit hit and miss honestly. Service here has always been at least "very OK" but pleasant. We recently sat in the lounge area and although our server that night was the best we've had there (really, she was fantastic... personable, friendly, and attentive! Sad I didn't make a point to get her name) BUT, the atmosphere was just horrible. The acoustics of the building made everything seem so loud and the bar staff was simply beyond unprofessional in my opinion. Bartending is definitely a different nature of service and I understand that, but this was more indicative of a loud, uncomfortable party that made us feel really out of place. And we aren't ones to shy away from bars, even if kinda dicey. The atmosphere was more suited for a good dive bar rather than the mid-to-top shelf one they presented. However, my drinks were poured just right. Whether it was a specialty cocktail featuring CBD soda, or a well vodka splashed with soda, the flavor and liquor ratio were more than adequate. So, maybe it was just the atmosphere that night that really was the turn off for me. Will definitely go back and try again to really decide what felt so off for me that night.

This used to be our favorite restaurant, but slowly I've noticed the quality of our visits slowly going down. We are regulars and last night was our worst experience yet. It took about 20-25 minutes before anyone stopped by to greet us and take our orders. We didn't recognize our server so we figured she was new. Since we had waited she offered to get us a complimentary salad or miso which was a good start, she took our menus and we had to grab her before she walked off to put in our drink orders as well. We started noticing that the people around us who showed up 30 minutes after us were getting their food after about 15 minutes of sitting down, including the appetizer we ordered and still hadn't received. It took about 45 minutes to get our food, which is not unusual here, but we never got our appetizer. The server never came back to check on us so we had to grab the guy walking around filling waters to get our appetizer. He comes back promptly with it and not 5 minutes later our server comes by with a second appetizer, so we got 2 for 1. Once again the server never came back to check on us so we had to grab other people to grab us extra ginger, etc. Also, I had finished my beer halfway through our meal and would've gotten another one, but she never did check in. We finished our food and waited another 20-30 minutes to even receive our check. Once again, we had to grab her while she was walking around to get it. We still had food on our plates and figured she would assume we needed a box, but she didn't so once she brought the check back we asked for a box as well. We noticed on the check that 1. we had never received one of the rolls we ordered, and 2. they charge extra for whiskey neat. We dont think we should be charged for no ice and every time we bring it up when we come in the restaurant they gladly change it. This time, the bartender came over and explained that they charge extra for no ice because they pour heavy. We were not happy with that, because were already buying expensive whiskey and did not ask for a heavy pour. She continued to argue and had a really crappy attitude with us, but said she would change the charge anyway. So keep in mind there will be an extra charge whenever you order neat. Lastly, once the check was fixed and we put the card down, it took another 20-30 minutes for her to come back and pick it up. At that point we were done and just wanted to go home. A quick 2 person dinner ended up taking several hours. Everything in the women's bathroom is broken (toilet paper dispenser, paper towel dispenser, etc). They've switched to cheaper lollipops rather than dum dum's and don't refill them.

Overall: Our server was nice but extremely oblivious to her tables needs, and they lost a lot of money on our table due to mistakes made throughout the night (they lost $20 on the roll we never received, 2 appetizers due to the slow service, an extra appetizer because they didn't communicate once we received the first, and about $20 on alcohol because they never asked if we...

Came in for dinner tonight, a Friday night around 6:00pm. It was a reasonably busy night. However, the hostess was very attentive and greeted everyone that entered in a timely manner. My partner and I were seated at a table of four. It took a while for the waitress to noticeably panic when she realized that no one had taken our order. We are pretty patient people so it was not that big of a deal. Especially since they honored the happy hour prices considering we had been seated well before happy hour was over. At some point the hostess asked if she could have one of our unoccupied chairs which we were happy to give. In that moment one of the older waitresses yelled at the hostess from across the restaurant saying that she needed that table to combine with another table for a bigger party (she was pointing at us). At this point we had already ordered and received part of our meal. So the yelling seemed unnecessary, even more so in the middle of a crowded restaurant. Meanwhile the hostess was still checking people in, seating people, managing the to go orders, communicating with the sushi chefs, and doing it with a smile. During the duration of our dinner (about 30 minutes) the same waitress yelled at the hostess twice. In addition to that she also made sure to rush us out of the restaurant by bringing our check out to us and standing there until we gave some form of payment. Mind you, we were still eating and trying to enjoy the one glass of wine we ordered, which was a little over 1/2 full. Seeing as how the hostess was getting some heat for seating us where she did, we decided to hurry out of there in order to not get her into deeper waters. Overall the experience was not awful, mostly off putting. Props to the hostess for maintaining professional...
