francesca's — Local services in Evesham Township

I made a very large purchase in Francesca’s in the Marlton Promenade ystrdy, although intending to buy just a pair of earrings ; I used to shop there all the time before moving 45 min away,so not so much in the last several years. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was the only customer in the store & better still, a lovely young lady to wait on me ! Lillianne did everything she could to ensure that my shopping experience was a success & I was/am very appreciative !! I get lost in the big department stores & if I was tech savvy I wud have shopped online, but I also wanted to try things on so there wud be no cause for returns, plus Francesca’s is just my size, not too big & just the right boutique size. I got 30% off on most of my purchases but wen I looked online this morning I saw that things were 70% off online. 😳. A larger discount after driving to the store, taking the time to choose my purchases, tried on clothing, wud have been really nice; I don’t like the fact that I did not get the same discount as the online shoppers, not even close. My point is, I spent more money than if I had shopped Francesca’s online bc they have a lot of nice things that sit on shelving that I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Rachel was such a sweetheart & very helpful these past two days! With the holiday’s approaching, I know shipping can get backed up, but I called the store for updates the last couple days to see if my ‘store pickup’ order has arrived yet. My order unfortunately hasn’t been delivered yet like I was hoping, but Rachel answered my calls both times & tried finding other stores that would have my items in stock, offered to call their customer service to give me the tracking info she didn’t have access to, tried finding similar items in their store & even offered to put them on hold for me. She really was so great & went the extra mile in trying to help me for something completely out of her control! It’s always so nice to speak to somebody who is genuine & wants to help in customer service so I really appreciated all of her help in trying to help me out! The smell in this store is absolutely disgusting. I never usually post reviews but I have never been shopping for clothes in a store that smells like rotten eggs and sewage. I was completely turned off from buying anything because I do NOT want my clothes to smell like it did in the store. What is even worse is the employees have to smell sewage all day long while they are working and it has been smelling like this for YEARS! Wether it is up to the Promenade to get rid of the smell or Francesca’s. I cannot support a company that treats their potential customers and their employees so bad, that they believe we have to suffer while we spend time and money at THEIR store!
