Came in for a screen replacement of my S8+, staff was courteous and I returned to pick up the phone when the repair was complete. Same day of pick up I found my front facing camera to be very blurry. When I returned with the phone they apologised and began to repair the camera. When i returned to pick up the phone I found within moments that the adhesive for the screen was weak, thus allowing the screen to easily lift off. They began to repair the phone again. When I was called to come pick up the phone I asked them to double check that everything was OK, like the cameras and adhesive. The man on the phone cut me of saying "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah". Well, when I picked up the phone I found within moments that the front camera was again very blurry. After they ordered parts for another repair and I picked up the phone a week later with several scratches on the front and back as well as a finger print on the inside of the back camera's cover.

I don't understand why it was necessary for me to find the mistakes they made. I am not a repair guy at all, they are the technicians. All the extra trips for me to come in and do their quality checks was frustrating. I received no discount on the transaction. Also, the nice and thick tempered glass I purchased from them after the first repair was ruined by subsequent repair and replaced with a thinner cheaper...

I brought my Lenovo Yoga laptop into Arctice Tech Solutions because my hinge had broken the screen and made the touchscreen capability no longer functional. He was very straightforward about the cost of the fix and even went as far as to check the price pf a new laptop altogether to see if fixing the laptop completely was even worth the price it would be. I asked if there would be anyway that he could just fix the hinge and get my touchscreen interface to be turned off so no glitchy issues started happening. He was very helpful and said he could epoxy the hinge so it could close and open again without breaking the screen more, and lowered the price from over 500 to only 90 dollars because of the difference in the fix. It took him about a week and a half because his epoxy was dried and he had to get some new stuff, but after it was finished, there have been no more issues with the screen being able to open and close. I called in the morning asking if I can get my game console fixed same day and he told me to bring it in so he can take a look. I was not expecting a same day fix, but after taking a look he told me that he has the part and could get it done right then. Without scheduling anything I got my problem fixed within a couple hours of asking if it would even be possible. The owner prioritized my random walk-in problem without hesitation, and was personable and fun to talk to during the whole process. I had to leave on a trip the day after, and thanks to the owner I was able to bring along my console and make it a much more enjoyable trip. I appreciate his willingness to help me immediately and expertise to work on and fix a console he had only seen once before. All in all, if I ever need anything fixed, I will go here again in a heartbeat, and if anyone around me needs something fixed I know who I'm recommending.
