Thee worst nursing school you could ever attend. Akron (fairlawn campus) experience. The good instructors have all left, the new instructors are teaching subjects they are not well educated in. Be prepared to teach yourself. It is very hard to focus with all the commotion (it is like high school for adults) very ghetto. The reviews are correct, they do not care if you fail or pass, they get paid regardless. They only care about you signing up to retake classes so that they can get paid… again. They do not care that you are not retaining any information. YouTube could teach you better than an instructor here. (Ms. Thrasher) I know this name sounds familiar from all the reviews, right? Yes… 85% or more of students that take one of her classes fail. When you bring your concerns to Connie, she dismisses you. Again, everyone I’ve spoken to about Valley College have never had good things to say and the ones that have, attended this school a VERY long time ago… this school is NOT the same nor is it ran by the same people. I am a recent former student that left and started over at another nursing school… ask yourself “is it worth me going through the whole enrollment process just to have to start over at another school eventually”...
Read moreWhat can I say about Valley College of Fairlawn… I have to say that this program at the Fairlawn campus is top-tier and I say that because I attended both campuses Cleveland and Fairline and a big part of me wish I would’ve attended Fairline first but that’s where I finish that and the instructors there care I didn’t have that at the Cleveland campus but I received it at the Fairlawn campus the teachers instructors who make sure that you not only learn the information, but retain the information I would have to say, is Miss K, Miss Q, Miss Alycia, Miss G, and I cannot forget Mrs. Weller, all are superior. Let me tell you something, Miss Q she’s going to make sure you get it you’re not gonna come in her clinical and halfstep you just not miss Alycia. She’s so sweet she’s so caring she’s a good resource there. They actually got a great bunch of instructors even the administration is wonderful from Jennifer, who has moved up to admissions now to Connie, who’s the head person you will go see there so if you’re looking to get into and able to drive this 35 minutes from Cleveland 20 minutes from Cleveland enroll in the Fairlawn program you will not regret it I’m bout to walk the...
Read moreIf I could give -1000 I would . They have some nerve calling themselves a “nursing school” this is not a school this is a waste of time and money. I went here for 6 weeks I absolutely hated it . The teachers are not knowledgeable and will have you teaching yourself. The classes are not long enough you will be teaching yourself over 10 chapters per week (each up to 60 pages long) with no additional resources and not to mention the 3 week classes aren’t even 3 weeks they are 12 DAYS!!! That’s it! The president of this campus also sucks is not helpful and will lie to you about fixing problems about the school. They also condone bullying without any intervention and I have witnessed it. All of the good teachers quit there are literally only like 3 teachers in the whole building and you will not retain any information so in conclusion do not go here you will regret it i Recommend herzing or stark if you are in...
