Shulan's Jewelers Fairlawn has recently celebrated their 100th Anniversary of being in business from 1921-2021 and all of Northeast Ohio has truly been the winners with being honored in having this company in our own backyard all of these years. This fabulous company represents the honesty, integrity, service, unparalleled expertise in their field, top-notch customer service and overall "awesome-ness" that is literally unmatched. Turning to them for many needs through the years, I recently took my Swarovski Crystal Watch to them for repair. Every other jeweler that I spoke with would not even take a look at it - let alone work on it. When I spoke with Jay and Carol at Shulan's they were more than happy to try to help. With their huge wealth of knowledge of the jewelry industry they were able to get my Swarovski watch serviced with a new battery, repaired and back to me in about two weeks. If not for them, my $650.00 Swarovski watch would be in the trash. They have gone over and beyond my expectations time - and every time I have gone to them. My fiancé and I were looking for a Jeweler to help appraise a very old Longines watch that we had come to have through a death in the family. They were amazing at having someone from Longines come and appraise it personally. Although we are very happy with the watch itself, it was more precious to us than the appraiser. We were so grateful that John took the time to have it appraised by the Longines company. My fiancé and I also decided that since my engagement ring needed a proper stone for it, we would return to Shulan's and get the stone that would make the ring stand up and stand out and say WOW to anyone who looked at it, and they did just that! I am going tonight to give them my ring to put the diamond in it, and I can hardly wait to get it back! Thank you John, Jay and Carol for taking the time to help us make the right choice for my ring! Disappointed to have a bad experience at this local jeweler. I came in for a fix on my engagement ring, the prongs became loose and the diamond was spinning. It was said to be a simple fix and guaranteed to be a quick turn around. Everyone was very friendly and I also bought my husband a Christmas gift while I was in. Within a few days they called to say they would need to recreate the ring shape in order to tighten the prongs. I agreed to this fix assuming they were the experts, not me. When coming in to pick up the Christmas gift I ordered and my fixed ring, it was evident the ring no longer fit. They made the ring a full size smaller than it was. I shared my concern and I was very upset that I still couldn’t wear my ring. It’s hard to believe that they wouldn’t have sized my finger for a new ring size. The response to this was a shoulder shrug and a “we can’t resize till after Christmas so you’ll have to come back”.
