We had ordered a couch, loveseat and ottoman the last week in February. It was due in the last week in April. As of today’s date they still do not have our furniture. You call up and they say it will be in in two weeks. The week it is due in I call and get told it will be another two weeks. This has been ongoing since April. Again I called and asked for a status to find out it has again been moved to June 29th. It is unprofessional not to have common courtesy to contact your customers who are waiting and let us know that your date has been moved yet again. They offered to deliver the loveseat and ottoman as the couch has yet to arrive in their store. That makes so much sense to sit for weeks on a loveseat with no couch. This is not a place you want to buy furniture. I know we will be begin looking elsewhere. I don’t think I want to wait until next February to get my furniture. Update- 6/29/21: Received a call from Ashley that the furniture is now in. They scheduled for today to deliver. Came in damaged so we were told to refuse the couch. We have tried a half dozen times to speak with a manager to try and have them deliver our furniture tomorrow since they said they could not deliver today to replace the damaged couch. No response callback from a manager and now you just get a voicemail. Trust me, you do not want to buy furniture from a company like this. Won’t ever go back and will definitely not recommend to anyone looking to buy furniture.

I would give zero stars to Ashley furniture fair less hills store. We purchased a king size bed in November 2022 and purchased a protection plan costing $400 for 5 years. The bed was not assembled correctly at delivery, the slat started Making creaking noises and slat was tearing down from 3 to 4 places. so we called Ashley store to check our bed frame they sent one technician after inspection the person put in wrong notes about our bed frame slat that it is in good condition and we are not getting any help. He said in the inspection at our home that the slat is broken and needs to be fixed but in the report to Ashley he said the bed is in good state only normal wear and tear and they will not fix it. Such a waste of money buying protection plan when it is not being used. Now we are constantly calling Ashley and they keep on saying that customer service can help you and customer service person is saying store will help you. We will not purchase anything going forward with Ashley store, huge disappointment. Please save your money and go to IKEA they have better products and no drama. The store lady Lauren keeps on saying that you used your protection plan just to call a unprofessional and inexperienced technician who provides incorrect responses to the store. And they cannot help us.

I was in Ashley furniture yesterday to look for a couch. I was greeted by the sweetest, least agressive sales person (even by furniture store standards) named Doc. He politely introduced himself and offered his assistance if I needed it. I had a few questions and waved him over each time and he was able to answer the questions without bullsh*tting me or anything. You could tell he knew what he was talking about. He wasn't lurking behind me the entire time while I shopped, like every other furniture place in the area I have been too. I finally found the perfect couch and Doc helped me to set up the sale and delivery etc. Very nice sales person and very nice selection at this store. In addition they had a great sale going on while I was there. Will definitely be back to buy a bed and some other items I need and will make sure to see Doc (you should too!) 👍👍

Dealing with Ashley Furniture was the absolute worst experience I've had EVER. First off the store was unorganized everyone was sitting around no enthusiastic, no proper greeting. Definitely not the type of greeting that I would want if i'm going to be spending a couple thousand dollars, which I was.

We negotiated our pricing on a sectional and dining room table. We meaning my boyfriend and I. We are sales people so it's natural to us. PLUS of course were not going to pay full price while the sales person is making tons of commission on us when she does not even know the basics. Our sales person Kelly it was her first day I understand that, but she should definitely learn a little people skills first and not be so dry dealing with the public.

First problem we had with delivery, they were to call 15 minutes in advance so we could be there (it was our moving day so we were preoccupied) we get a call saying they are there and they are not waiting for us; they left without delivering our furniture because they would not wait a mere 5 minutes for us to arrive.

Second problem rescheduling a new delivery time they would not come back after their other deliveries because they stop delivering in our area at 3PM!!! Who is even home at that time during the week. Next time was a Sunday so we postponed our shore trip so they could bring the furniture because we needed it! The furniture gets there in the scheduled window time and we were relieved. Come to find out it was the wrong pieces!!!! We ordered electronic recliner and reclining chaise. They delivered a manual one. Delivery men assure me that Ashley will contact us to schedule a time to deliver the CORRECT pieces.

Ashley never calls.... a week goes by. I call them to schedule the delivery and it's now set for 2 weeks out. So a total of THREE WEEKS to fix their mistake. Their compensation for the frustration was to charge us for the manual even though we got power, which was not enough if you ask me.

THIRD PROBLEM; delivery day comes 3 weeks later and the delivery window is 1230-4, so of course you plan your whole day for being home during those hours... We get a call around 3 pm stating the truck broke down our new window time is 5-8pm. UNBELIEVABLE my daughter is in bed at 8pm, but do they care? NO! Do they offer anything? NO!

This was the absolute worst experience buying ANYTHING. I will never deal with them again ever. They do not hold themselves accountable. I will certainly spread the word regarding their non professional...

0 star is actually what they deserve! I purchased a sofa set back in either November or December 2020. I cannot even recall it anymore. I was told that “there is 4-8 weeks wait time but it wouldn’t take more than 4 weeks” so I agreed. I was given February 1st as estimated delivery time. I didn’t receive my furniture and no one bothered to call and update that it would be delayed. When I called I was told that I’d receive in 2 weeks again no furniture, no call nothing! I card back and was told that “they never said two weeks! And My furniture will be at the warehouse on March 8th!” I called back on March 8th (today) and was told they are not sure and it should take another week! I was also told that my sale person “Tony” would call me back today when he comes in at 12... well it’s 4.30 and I still didn’t get a call and no one bothered to inform me what’s going on! I already made 4 payments towards these furniture that I don’t even have. I was only delivered one piece within a week of purchase because they had plenty of it in stock but when that delivery was made, delivery guys damaged the sofa. Rips and stains all over and they told me that it was not a big deal and I could clean the stains and noone would see those rips because it was in the back and at the bottom! When I refuse to accept it they threw the delivery paper in my face stormed out of the house and slammed the door. Which caused damaged on my wall and baby gate! They also refused to take their shoes off despite being told numerous times and it was a snowy day so my carpet and floor was left in mud and dirt. Being 24 weeks pregnant I had to clean up their mess! They also tried to so hard to handshake with my 15 month old and when I told them no they kept getting near him. I wanted them to stay away from my son bc of covid so I was so mad. I also tried to contact this store about the matter but no one got back to me. When they showed up to exchange my item they brought in a swivel chair that doesn’t work and I was told they cannot do anything about it! Customer service finally agreed to exchange it again bc I refused the parts to be fixed! I was supposed to receive a call from this store to setup delivery but they never called and I had to go in for it as well. So basically stay away from this store and horrible employees! I will never ever go back and will let everyone know about this horrible...

Got this week's catalog and wanted to buy a mattress. I went in, talked to the extremely nice salesperson for a while and wanted to purchase a specific mattress.

During the checkout process, I told her I was excited to get it tomorrow (The ad said free set-up, free next day delivery* (In the delivery zone which I am in), and free removal of old bedding, I requested the removal and the next day delivery.

She said there was no way I could get it tomorrow (A Friday) and I would have to wait until Tuesday. There was nothing on there about "when available" or "Truck may be full", I think jthey just have one truck and can;t handle their own business. No discount for breaching their own word was given at my request. I swallowed my pride, shook her hand, let them take my money and went home anxiously.

Tuesday rolls around and the gentlemen bring the furniture into my apartment, have me sign a document and leave quite quickly. I walked outside to ask them if they were going to take my old bedding and the gentleman said I had to request it. I kinda did have it out in front of them when they arrived and I did tell the sales person I wanted it? They came back up, took the old bedding and I also noticed they didn't even take the mattresses out of the plastic, and just lied them on my wall. Last time I checked, this isnt a free setup.

2 stars for a big letdown

After setting it up myself, I am now fanning the mattress off due to it's high smell of chemicals and my asthmatic reaction to it.. (Sealy Ravenwood model).

UPDATE: I asked for a return because I was unable to properly breathe with the chemical smell of the mattress. I agreed to an exchange on the condition that they inspect it to make sure it doesn't stink. The woman in customer service apathetically assured me on the phone that they would inspect it, and it would take a whole week. (Next day delivery for new customers, but not me. They already have my money so I guess they don't care.)

They drop off the new mattress, and it stinks just as bad as the other. The deliverymen all agree with me as well. I had to live with this mattress for a week until they could pick this one up too and give me a full refund.

They lied to me, put me on lower priority for my satisfaction, and made me wait for all of it. Thanks for nothing! I bought a similar mattress at "The Mattress Factory" for $100 less and it...
