DECEMBER 11, 2023 GYM @5:15 A.M. THE GYM DID NOT OPEN AGAIN. AT THIS POINT JUST HIRE THE MEMBERS WHO SHOW UP EARLY IN THE MORNINGS FOR ABOUT AN HOUR BEFORE THE STAFF STARTS TO ARRIVE. NOW IT SEEMS LIKE THIS IS BEING DONE ON PURPOSE. Wish I could leave no stars.

The LOCATION IS CONVENIENT BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!! OCTOBER 23,2023 GYM IS NOT OPEN AT 5.A.M. AGAIN. There's a parking lot full of cars and and we have schedules to adhere too yet the staff will have MORE EXCUSES AS TO WHY THEY ARE SORRY FOR NOT BEING COMPLIANT WITH THERE TIMES! DO BETTER! DID SOMEONE FORGET AGAIN? WAS THE SCHEDULING OFF AGAIN? SOMEONE FORGOT?
AUGUST 4, 2023!!!!!!! ANOTHER DAY OF CRUNCH FOOLERY!!!! We are sitting in the parking lot as of 5 o'clock this morning. Please stop excusing you're delayed openings as emergencies,. It's something you do all the time and it's more of an excuse other than accepting responsibility for your lack of interest and your job!
I spoke to a Mitchell Deckelmen ( manager) who said any time this happens to send an email to him and still no one has responded or shown up.
This happened last week as well and gym members were told" It was an emergency." That is a very casual nonchalant response, stop using it. Just accept responsibility for your actions and realize that your gym staff is horrible and the problem starts with management. A manager should be here to open up the door immediately!!!! DO BETTER!!!! This is literally the livelihood of your Members and it's the way most of us start our day off right!!!
I came here today, November 1,2022. Showed up about ( 3 mins) before opening time, which is 5 a.m. because I know that the staff needs time to get the gym up and running. All the lights were on, and I stood outside at the front entrance for an hour, and no one showed me to open the gym. THERE WERE ABOUT 20 CARS IN THE PARKING LOT. ONE OLDER GUY told me that he was on a time restriction and needed to get in for a workout and shower so he could make it to work on time. To have all these people paying what they pay for Memberships and to offer poor customer service like this is unacceptable. People arrange their schedules for early morning workouts, and this is how you treat them! The older gentleman told me that he's been coming here for about 2 years, and it happens all the time more than he'd like. It all starts with MANAGEMENT and the way you train your staff. If your staff doesn't show up, then you show up and open the establishment. You sacrifice your time to run the business, like we sacrificed our time to be here and support not only ourselves but your business financially.! Run and do not commit to a company or place that isn't committed to you. All they want is the money for Memberships, maintenance fees, etc.. Granted they do have decent equipment. Read moreThis is your true and honest answer of the gym itself, no billing or management will be spoken about. To start off when you enter the door there is normally 1 maybe 2 people at the front desk, you check in yourself and off you go, if you have trouble signing in or setting up your barcode they have 0 issue helping but the crunch app is pretty bad. Not that its their fault. Once youve walked in youll see plates all over the place, obviously its hard to constantly keep them in correct places and people who are working out arent always super helpful which i guess is okay. I dont care too much about looking for a plate or whatever its not too serious of a issue, especially as of really late i see the manager and front desk people consistently keeping up with it. The bench press bars constantly rotate, i guess its due to others preference but what can you do reasonably to insure that doesnt happen, not much. The bench press benches are a little narrow, annoying in the slightest but again it is what it is. The squat/deadlift racks are super nice super high quality probably the best part. T bar and punching bags are available if need be, theres a little bit of turf if you’re into dynamic working out or stretching. The stair master and treadmills seem clean, never broken or anything. The machines are normally well kept and not broken unless its a cable pull machine which those are abused so i cant hold it against them. The bathrooms are very well kept, atleast in the mens. The gyms atmosphere is probably one of the reasons i stuck to this place. Nobodys really too aggressive although it happens when working out, majority of people are polite and ask before even lifting next to you. The people that come here vary in all ages, genders and sizes, everybody just sticks to their stuff. Overall if you were to ask me if this gym is worth it id tell you yes, best gym in our area with a way better price. I hear and see a lot of people having billing issues when it comes to cancelling but im pretty sure some people like to complain more then they like to workout. Their is obviously a corporate catch somewhere in the membership but i dont think its fair to take it out on people who are trying to be helpful, being rude never got anybody anywhere. I had an unfamiliar charge on my account and had questions about it as this is not the first time Crunch charged my card without my permission outside of my monthly payment. He said he cant see it on his end and that a claim had to be filed. I wanted to know if I will be receiving a phone call regarding this and he had no direct answer for me. As the conversation went on I couldn’t get my sentences out without him cutting me off and becoming extremely hostile with me. I got to the point where I didn’t feel comfortable having my card on file and wanted to cancel my membership so he gave me the phone number. I asked if I will still be notified once the claim is solved and again, no direct answer. In the middle of me speaking to him he abruptly cut me off and hung up on me. I was taken aback by this type of behavior from a MANAGER. I called back and a woman at the front desk answered. I explained how the manager hung up while I was speaking and still had a question for him. She said he went back to the office but she will ask him. She came back on saying that Rell said he has nothing more to say to me and he already told me to just cancel my membership. I was appalled and said “wow thats so unprofessional, I will be stopping by in person”. I called the cancellation number where I was able to get everything sorted out and the situation resolved, turns out it wasn’t a fraudulent charge after all and had he taken that extra step we could’ve easily came to that conclusion and I would have been happy. After the way Rell spoke to me and treated me, I no longer wanted to be a member at Crunch Fitness and went through with the cancellation procedure. I still stopped by to make sure my account was fully cancelled and another manager assisted me who was very helpful and apologetic. I asked who is Rell and the manager assisting me called Rell over but Rell said he was busy. Rell was in earshot this entire conversation and not once did he stop over to either apologize or anything like that, it just seems like he truly does not care about his role in this entire situation.
