Lucky Break Billiards & Darts — Local services in Farmington

My daughters (18 & 16yo) went to play pool and darts to pass by some time and were treated so disrespectfully. This is the second time we've been there and it's been the same both times. My girls are no professionals at darts, but are learning. The owner told them that they were not playing "correctly" and showed them how to throw the darts. My daughters tried again and because she missed the dart board, the owner called them both to the counter and said, "You keep throwing the darts incorrectly and you obviously don't know how to play, so you both will need to leave" and handed them their ID's. The girls said that they were better at pool and asked if they could stay to play that and she said nothing and pushed their ID's to them. When my girls called me to make me aware, I tried calling the owner to see what happened (calm and collected) and she hung up on me. I called again and left a message on her voicemail. I've read other one star reviews that have complained about the same thing. This lady does not deserve to be in business. Very, very sad because this is an outlet for teenagers and young adults to go and instead they are shamed and mistreated. We will not be going here again and advise others to not give this lady...

First impressions were great! Clean and family friendly! Upon paying for my evening, and I asked if the establishment did a military discount. The woman informed me that she did NOT support the military, and therefore did not give discounts to ANY veteran or active duty personnel. Although it is her business and her right as an American, I was highly disappointed. I will not be patronizing this business, and have been making sure my veteran/ active duty friends and family know that this is an anti- military business.

UPDATE: 04/01/2019 So I did receive a reply to my review. Although I am surprised to see a reply, I am NOT at all surprised by the content within that reply. Sorry, owner of Lucky Break, we both know exactly how that particular conversation went. I'm not upset that you claimed "miscommunication", which it was most definitely not, instead, I'm saddened even more by your unwillingness to admit the hurtful words you spewed when I visited your establishment for the first and last time. Lucky Break is hands down one of the best places in Farmington for a fun and relaxing time. The tables are top-notch, clearly high-quality and expensive, which makes for an excellent playing experience. The owner is absolutely wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and attentive, creating a personal touch that makes you feel right at home.
