Today was suppose to be a special day for my cousin a high school graduate. She chose Bonefish grill for her graduation dinner. What was suppose to be a memorable occasion turned out not to be so memorable. This is something she will remember for a long time. Our waitress name was Helen. We had a party of 15 we ordered appetizers and our meals at 6:20 pm. At 6:50 we still did not receive our appetizers. When asked how long on the appetizers we were told by our waitress she will check on it. It’s now 7:00 so 10 minutes went passed and we did not see or hear from our waitress. She finally came over, it’s now 7:05 only to tell us there was technical difficulties with our appetizer order and the order did not go through, but our main dishes was received. By this time we were frustrated and wondering why we waited so long for appetizers only to find out the order was not placed. Some of the members of the party were frustrated and wanted answers to why everyone around us was receiving food but we were not. The waitress became upset and said she was not going to argue and we asked for another waitress. The manager came over and tried to explain to us that it was his fault and he tried to apologize but he was talking so low we could barely understand what he was saying. The waitress kept refilling our drinks and trying not to give eye contact. We asked again how long will the food take because if the food was not here in 5 mins we are going to leave. She mentioned she was checking on our food and the cooks were saying she was rushing them. We ended up leaving without any food. The final straw was at 7:40pm our party of 15 had not received any food so we politely walked out with no remarks to our group from the manager! Appetizers did finally come before we left, two of our guest received their appetizers at 7:15 pm but others did not receive any food. Read moreWe just left this restaurant and to say it was a disappointment is an understatement 😒. We chose this place because it's or was my mother in laws birthday and she loves sea food. We had 6 kids with us and 6 adults. We order food for the kids to share rather than get from the kids menu but one of them got chicken tenders. I don't know the exact name of the dish but it was a pasta with shrimp that turned out to be so spicy that the kids refuse to eat it. We other two of those. No where on the menu did it specified it was spicy not was i warned about it even tho They knew it was for the kids. waitress came offer something else and to make it fast we just get chicken tenders. We were charged for both the plates of pasta and the chicken tenders they offered!..you would think the chicken tenders were complementary. But I guess I was wrong! . I order a filet mignon medium well and it came out dry overcooked. They took it back to get it right and I had to eat by my self because by the time it came back every one else was done eating. The stake had no flavor but I eat it all because I was hungry. I told them it was my mother in-laws birthday when we first sat down and the didn't care about it because they never even brought a dessert menu. 😒 you would think they would since like I said we had 6 kids with us. Anyways the bill came out and they had charged us for 3 filet mignon and the waitres comes back when she saw us reviewing the bill and brought a different bill without the one that we sent back. (Only two people ordered filet mignon) we hadn't even called her to let her know of the " mistake " 😳. In the end we paid around $230 and a $40 tip for the horrible experience. We ordered days in advanced and called them several times and days in advance to confirm our order and time. Today they totally dropped the ball and did not have our order ready. Even though we arrived an hour later which gave them extra time. Not to mention there weren't many cars in the parking lot and they didn't seem too busy or swamped. Instead of taking accountability or apologizing they told us it would take about 10 minutes or more to prepare it, asked my husband if he called a New York number, asked if he ordered a family meal, and if his order was under another name. He confirmed all his information for them several times and read their store number out to them that he called. They didn't even seem aware of what he ordered because it definitely was not a family meal or deal. The first lady that helped him walked away and didn't return with an answer so he had to ask someone else for help. He told them we couldn't wait and never stated we would return. Yet when we called some other lady stated he said he would return in 10 minutes. This was not possible because the event was over 30 minutes away and we had already left the restaurant and we headed there. They definitely showed a lack of professionalism, very poor communication and dishonesty today. Our experience today was very disappointing.
