I used to go on Tuesdays because Hamrick's offers a 10% senior discount. I stopped going because the store would be packed with no carts available and long lines. Well, I guess I'll go back to Tuesdays and get the discount for my efforts needed to shop and make a purchase. I went on Thursday and the store was still packed, lines were long, and there were no available carts. The young man in the shoe department was helpful because I told him not to put away my stack of shoes--4 pairs. I just got tired of hauling them while I looked. While standing in line, I balanced the boxes on a plant stand and I noticed a garden flag that I liked. A customer in the next line told me the price and handed me the one I wanted. The customers in line were cordial. So was the cashier. She was diligent and made sure I received accurate gift receipts, just in case my daughter and granddaughter don't like or can't fit into their shoes. I was very pleased with my selections of Ingaro--hospital-style clogs. In the past, I have received compliments, referred the admirers to Hamrick's, and returned when they have a new selection and sale. Now, if the store could offer more carts and more open registers during peak hours, then Hamrick's would earn a five...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur cashier tonight at about 6pm was extremely rude. My mom has the rewards card that she has had for a long time but it didnāt pull up when the lady scanned(we used the same rewards card less than a month ago) so she asked for the phone number. When that didnāt work all she said was ānoā so my mom tried her other number and got another ānoā. So my mom simply asked if she could sign up. The ladyās tone was so rude saying āIād have to get your informationā (well duh!) her tone gave off the impression that we where being a huge inconvenience so I stated āwe wonāt worry about it if itās going to be such an inconvenienceā she then got even uglier claiming that I needed to drop my attitude. I let her know that my tone was just matching hers and left it at that. DONT work in CUSTOMER SERVICE if you are going to treat a simple question about the rewards system like a inconvenience and have such a rude hateful tone towards them. So my elderly people shop there and need things explained to them so if you canāt tolerate that then donāt work in that field. It...
Ā Ā Ā Read more5-stars for having a lot things, clothes are little old ladies. 1-Evertime Iāve gone to the store itās a furnace. I canāt even look around. I may put something in the cart in, going the to the shoes. First, the shoe section has the boxes by brand and youāre unable to know what color or size.of the shoe. Sweat starts building up.First row of shoes you say āItās so hot hereā. By the second aisle, your sweating has increased, āOMG, itās burning in this storeā. On third row, youāre bathed in sweat, your thought is āIām getting out of this place,ā. Sometimes Iāll put things back or just leave the cart with items, or and leave without spending a penny. I go straight home take a shower, and stay home for the rest of the day. This has always been my experience at Hamricks. Even the winter time. Shoppers need to feel comfortable while in a store for a good experience and revenue...
