Kohl's heavily promotes big discounts such as 30% on their Kohl's card. They also promote Kohl's Cash with purchases. I took advantage of this for Christmas shopping, spending around $400 on gifts. When my recipients exchanged gifted clothing for something they preferred, both the 30% and the Kohl's Cash were forfeited, rendering the promotion meaningless. For example, two pair of $75 jeans cost me $105 plus I got Kohl's cash for another $20 meaning $170 in retail value for $105. Sounds like a good sale, right? When exchanged, the $20 was canceled and $105 was credited to a gift card for my gift recipient, meaning, we really got $105 of retail value for $105. The reason I shopped here was the promotion, and this reason was completely removed by "Kohl's Policy." (When I inquired with Kohl's, it was told, that my math was wrong, and Kohl's Policy was quoted repeatedly, there was no concern about our loss in value. First they don’t have enough options to select what you want. You need to go online, and the online product not always match the picture and your expectations. So, you need to return it, when you return is good, but if you exchange it the will not match what you exchange with your original receipt, so when you back again they will tell we are unable to find your receipt we can not give you money back to your card or cash we only can give a gift card to use it only at Kohl’s store.
